Another jump ball to Watson in the end zone that Watson does not even compete for.  I think we can go ahead and tear those out of the playbook until Watson proves he is capable of making at least some kind of effort on it.

By far Wicks and Reed are the two best contested ball catchers.

Either running away from the hole or getting completely washed out.

It's a Packers 1st round pick, gotta give him 5 years of development before you expect anything

Yeah, I imagine he got too used to just stepping on the field at ND State and dominating people who were all naturally undersized.  That ain’t going to happen in the NFL, kid.

My thought when Jones caught it was “can he get out of bounds”…I’m guessing Jones thought he wouldn’t make it.

of course there was no replay, so not sure how close that would have been

still need a reliable red zone target. Watson ain't it.

The smart play was to just not catch the ball, bat it down for an incompletion.
