The High-A Timber Rattlers can jump out to a 2-0 home series lead with a win over Fort Wayne. 23-year old LHP Tate Keuhner has a 12-inning scoreless streak. RF Eduarqui Fernandez needs to break his 0-for-20 funk.

The Tincaps scored a run on Kuehner in the 2nd. 2 walks and a hit in the inning. He did strikeout all 3 for the outs. Already at 48 pitches

Top of the 6th Fitzpatrick replaces Rund. Strikes out the first man with a nasty breaking ball. Doershing flies out to ORae in the deepest part of centerfield for the second out. Fitzpatrick walks the next guy on four pitches but strikesout the next to get out of it. Tincaps with deep counts today. It took Fitzpatrick 23 pitches to get through the inning

Rattlers score one from a HBP, BB, double steal and sac fly. Tayden Hall strikes out looking with Luke Adams at third to end the inning. Rattlers trail 2-1 into the 7th

Fitzpatrick almost takes one to the head on a liner but narrowly avoids it. A run scores in the inning and he has 2 on with 1 out but he strikes out the last two batters on full counts get out of it.

TinCaps bring in a RP with some nasty stuff. Upper 90's heat and a nasty slider. Fangraphs have both his pitches projected to be future plus pitches.

Chirinos walks and advances on a wild pitch as Fernandez strikes out. Vargas hits a ball really hard but right at the right fielder. Barrios with a soft grounder that eats up the shortstop as the ball bounces off his glove up in the air and to second base. Chirinos gets to third. Areinamo with a high fly to right. Another lost opportunity as we head to the 8th

8th Yerlin Rodriguez pitching. First guy grounds out. Secind guy walks. He tries to steal and Cedeño (the batter) avoids the pitch inside and stumbles over the plate as Rodriguez(Catcher) throws to second. Ump rules interference so Cedeño is out and the runner returns to first. Rodriguez then strikes out Ethan Salas as he foult tips a breaking ball into the mitt

Luke Adams is a strikeout looking machine. If not for a generous ball 4 call earlier he would be 0-4 with 4 strikeouts looking today.

O Rae walks and advances on a WP. Adams strikes out looking on a borderline fastball at the top of the zone. Rodriguez (the catcher) is hit with a 97 MPH fastball by R£odriguez (the pitcher). Hall then pops up sky high and the infield fly is called. 2 outs and Chirinos to bat. Can we get something going?

Nope. Double steal and Rodriguez is mowed down at second. To the 9th

Really dumb baseball from the Timber Rattlers. Need to know who you are playing against. Timber Rattlers try a double steal to get the tying run to 2B but Ramon Rodriguez is thrown out by about 6ft at 2B.

This last one was close, but I didn't have issues with the call. It looked higher than it was because Adams hunched over.

Another free base. Rodriguez hits the speedy Bush Jr. No command from Rattlers pitchers today. He immediately steals 2nd. Areinamo had him ss he overslid but an awful call from tbe ump and he is safe. 1 on 0 outs

Brewers are going to have a tough decision this offseason on Yerlin Rodriguez. Typically you don't want to leave guys with stuff like this unprotected in the Rule 5 even if they aren't to the upper minors, but I feel like if the season ended today he would go unprotected.
