It’s LHP Tate Keuhner (3.40 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, 11.3 K/9 in 39.2 IP) against rehabbing Yu Darvish, as High-A Wisconsin seeks a 2-0 series lead in Fort Wayne. LF Felix Valerio joins the lineup as he tries to work his way from injury back up to Biloxi.

RHP Yu Darvish pitch one in 3...2...1 Off-speed strike dead center. Barrios looks. 0-1. 93 mph heater high outside corner. Ump determines it missed the zone. 1-1. Heater belt high and outside. 2-1 count.Off speed down and in and Barrios pops to SS in shallow LF. One down.

Areinamo weak 2-1 grounder to SS. Two down. On a 1-1 pitch, Lara takes a big hack at a ball down and in the dirt. Poor swing decision there. Over-aggressive. On a 1-2 count he swings at another ball in the dirt - down and in. Nowhere near the zone. K. Three up. Three down. Lara clearly a little amped and undisciplined facing a Major Leaguer.

Three up and three down - Castillo goes down looking to end the frame - for the Muddies down in Columbia as well. LHP Tate Kuehner to the hill for his first inning of work.

Kuehner matches Darvish with a 3 up and 3 down frame with a K looking to end it. On to the 2nd and we are knotted at zeroes. AND, Corniel with a three up three down frame with a final out K swinging on a gorgeous high outside corner heater. 0-0 in Columbia as well.

Darvish got up 0-2 on 2 sliders against Chirinos and for whatever reason they tried to throw a FB instead of a slider that Chirinos showed no confidence in touching. Chirinos took the FB at the top of the zone and crushed it to CF. 109 EV.

Wood stays hot, to boot, smacking a single off Darvish into RF on an inside belt high off-speed. Valerio then knocks an oppo single on an outside heater pitch 1. Men on 1st and 2nd, one down, for Hall. He beats out a blown throw to 1B up line. Instead of an inning ending DP, it was runners on the corner for Fernandez. On an 0-1 count, Fernandez hits an absolute spin wizard end-of-bat dribbler flare and gets aboard. Men on 1st and 2nd. Two down. 1-0 T-Rats...

AND, now Chirinos is to the dish (see above)...

Chirinos absolutely obliterated that pitch. My goodness. Camera couldn't even find it. LOL. It's 4-0 T-Rats. That ball likely left the entire ballpark. Whoa baby. On to the Summit. Atop the 400 Club. 382 '.

Darvish then ends the inning on the pitch he 'should' have given Chirinos. Off-speed dipping down and in below the zone. Swinging K.

Di Turi with a web gem diving stop and throw to first for out number 1 in Corniel's 2nd frame. That runner was likely safe but who cares? That was an incredible play any way you look at it.

Shuckers 3-up and 3-down 1st. O'Rae swinging K on an inside off-speed pitch. Boeve popped out to 3B foul territory. On a 3-1 pitch, Wilken got out ahead and under a heater dead center. Poor timing on the swing and just a wee off in form. He flies out to middle LF sky high.

AND, after a hard hit ground out to EBJ at SS for his first out...in a 2-1 count Miz hits the next batter on a high heater inside and up. The issues continue early. Not a good look.

He works around it on an 0-2 high heater Miller throws out the runner from his knees. He gets another groundout to EBJ up the middle.

Walling just hit a deep hanging fly misjudged by the Firefly CF'er and it scores Garcia from 3rd. 2-2 game.

Kuehner's off-speed is getting a lot of swings and misses tonight. He looks fantastic. 4-0 T-Rats as he completes 3 with a pick-off at 1B. Fantastic move there. On to the 4th.

Meanwhile, the Shuckers have the bases juiced after Ernesto Martinez Jr's 2-2 single into RF. Campbell will try to get a tally on the scoreboard. One down.
