So trade bait? Guess that makes some amount of sense. If I was another team I'd probably just wait until they DFA him but I guess it doesn't hurt to keep him until they can't anymore.

I'm thinking (hoping) there is more than one team at least slightly interested. That way someone might want to get the jump on others & we at least get a lotto ticket, or include him in something a bit larger.

Dude definitely deserved to have an "out" in his contract (19 HR, 26 SB). I wonder if they tie some of these "outs" to achieving certain performance metrics.

LOVE this for Brewer. Don't care about any thing other than: absolutely friggin' deserved. He has been Nashville's most consistent offensive threat throughout the season by a country mile. His only 'lull' was the first week back from his IL stint. Other than that, he has been getting results since week 1.

As the wagon wheel turns - as the crow flies on a clear day - basically, it's an unknown measurement in terms of measurable metric. BUT, oh sweet Timothy hay, it's a feel. Like you've been there before and my how far you traveled! And, oh how popcorn poppin' sweet it is/was! Some may say it's a long way. Some may say it's 2.37 miles - give or take a horse's hoof. Anyway you lay this egg, however, metaphorical or not, it's a 'country mile' - enjoy the view.
