That inning from Misiorowski was seriously impressive. He had a curveball in the dirt, but outside of that basically everything was either in the zone or within an inch of the zone. A few more outings like that and he will be in the Brewers bullpen soon enough.

It's amazing how much of a fine line that is. Never ceases to amaze. Accuracy in and around the Zone is everything. Doesn't matter how electric your stuff is if you can't keep it in that 1-3" zone around the entire zone. Ergo, Yerlin Rodriguez's ongoing issues.

Easily the highlight of the day for me on the farm was Miz, Yoho & Herget (who we may not need in Milwaukee again but you never know) combining for 4 IP, 1 hit 0 runs & 8 K. A nice subset within those numbers: Miz recorded 5 outs on FIFTEEN pitches. If that continues he'll blow up my prediction of not seeing him in Milwaukee this year.

Disappointing stretch for Wilkin, just when it appeared he was turning the corner a bit. W/the shot to the face & all, certainly a trying year for him.

Congrats to Blake Burke on his first professional knock.

With the 'W' tonight, and a 4-2 series victory, the Sounds (22-16) remain alone in 2nd place across the International League. They are 4.0 GB red hot Columbus (26-12) - winners of 9-of-11 - who also took their series 4-2. BIG series upcoming @ ye ol' arch nemesis the Durham Bulls (17-22) who remain 9.5 GB but the standings just rarely matter when these two go head-to-head.

Tense games tonight:

- Wisconsin was threatening (2-on, 2-out) in the top of the 8th, then Quad Cities’ pitcher was tossed (and their Manager) mid-at bat against Jadher Areinamo, who walked. Then Ramon Rodriguez came through with a 2-run single a 3-1 lead. Aaron Rund shut it down from there over 2.2 IP

- Harrison Durow recorded the final 6 outs as Carolina held onto its 6-4 win

Yup and it's another one of those random MiLB games this season where Bally somehow trumps a showing via MiLB.TV. Can't even go back and watch what actually happened there. Second time, off the top of my head, a T-Rats game has been involved with this in 2024. Farts! 😂
