Wouldn't give them the win, yet. It's 2-1 now after Ohtani just hit #47.

Wet blanket willie was definitely excited for this type of performance so he could cry about the Cubs again

It would be very hard for me to put Rea out there as a starter in the playoffs.

Wouldn't have much use out of the bullpen in the postseason either.

Curt Hogg just did a podcast where he said he felt confident in Rae as a number 2 in the playoffs……lol

Yeah, that's not one of his better takes.

More Mitchell. Less Frelick.

You're telling me Frelick's 75 and 76 EV batted balls tonight don't get you excited?

I honestly think we might go with a dl hall/ashby combo game in the playoffs.
 At this point who knows

peralta will pitch one game for sure.   We just hope he doesn’t suck in the first inning

then it’s a crap shoot after that

This should be Peguero's final inning as a Brewer in 2024. Come in down 10-1 when innings need to be ate and you can't even throw strikes.

Time to bring up Misiorowski or Yoho. Peguero doesn't belong on the major league roster at this point.

I would do it if we can, not sure what the rules are now.

We played well bringing guys up and down earlier in the season but not sure if you can still do that.

Brewers might actually end up with a worse record than all three wild card teams.    I would have never thought that.     Maybe I shouldn’t be pissed at this new format.    I’d take all three home games at this point

The Brewers would be making the playoffs either way because they are a division winner lmao

I meant getting all three home games despite being worse than the 6 or 7th best team in the NL.   I’d take that now

And in the old format they would have been straight through to the NLDS. Can't see how this new format is more favorable

Yep.  Get back to that format.   This is stupid.    Just trying to cope with a team just playing terrible this month.
