Game 9: Lions @ Packers - Sunday, Nov 3rd at 3:25PM

Here's a couple of quotes from Dan Campbell:

“How exciting this is to be able to play these types of games,” Campbell said. “We’ll be in the elements, which is great, this is one of those you hope for. I think we’ll be all-whites so we’ll have the grass stains and everything. It’s going to be good old football, the way it’s meant to be played,”

“We’re very comfortable playing in the elements.”

Said the guy who plays his home games in a dome and hasn't played outdoors yet this season.

Detroit should win. They are who they want to be right now, while the Packers are still becoming who they want to be. Advantage goes to the complete team, for now. I still think we’re on track to peak when we need to.

All that being said, it’s not like there’s no path to victory. Goff historically turns the ball over a fair bit, and is not great outside and in the elements. They are vulnerable to the run, and that could keep this game from getting out of hand. Both defenses live off turnovers but give up some yardage, so if Love takes care of the ball, they’ll be in this the whole way, I think.

I still think the Lions win because it is their time. But the NFL is not for long. We’ll have another shot at them, and we could be healthier and more seasoned by then.

Any given Sunday, injuries or not.  Lets GOOOO!

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Nixon shoved in the back out of bounds and he gets the PF.

Not exactly the weather I would want love to be playing in right now, hopefully he's good to go and not risking major injury trying to play through something minor.

I actually think the Lions are overdue to get punched in the mouth by someone. They're cocky, and as McKinney said, they like to embarrass people. I think their success has started to go to their heads a little bit, and somebody is going to humble them soon, at least for a week. Just not sure it will be us.

I believe he threw the ball at the individual who tried to help slow him down and ended up on the ground.

That wasn't much of a shove on Nixon and I didn't think warranted a personal foul, but not sure what Nixon did to earn one, either. Had to have been something that happened off camera.

Likes like the ball might have been past the 43 but spotted well on front of it

But he was out of bounds... well out of bounds.

I've never seen contact like that called except maybe on the most protected of QB's. It was closer to placing two hands on someone's back than an actual shove.

Given how slick it is and that Nixon was sent into equipment (actually hurdled it, but then almost fell) it should've been called.  No reason for a cheap shot like that.  Nixon was pretty lucky to not get hurt.

Throw could have been better, but Brooks needs to haul that in and pretty much walks into the endzone if he does. Disappointing to end that drive with 3.

Yeah, disagree with Brady that you "don't have much of a chance with that"

Same. It was very catchable. I'm sure Jordan would have liked to place it better, but given the amount of pass rush in his face, I thought it was fine.

Love’s problem is he isn’t Brady. Hence it’s his fault.
