Are the Brewers holding a Winter Warm-Up this offseason?  I can't find any information anywhere on a potential event.  I know last year's got cancelled due to weather and before that I don't believe they had one for many years due to the pandemic.  Perhaps they've just given up on having anything at this point.

I find the Brewers attitude to this event very troubling. While the Cubs have a 3 day convention full of past players and current team fanfare, we cannot seem to do much of anything.  Seems like a total hassle for the current higher ups to put on a decent event like had gone on for several years, even though it was for half of a day.

You would think a two day event could be possible in a winterized AmFam Park in the next few years.  Tack on a hotel on the southwest side of the ballpark for future event goers, as well. That park should be like others…constantly being used for games, concerts, and conventions. It’s sad this wasn’t thought about deeply years back.

There was a sports radio producer that worked for the Brewers. He said that the Brewers lose too much money on it all after renting the building, paying for all the plane tickets, paying for employees, comping meals for players, etc, etc.

I want to say last year they had a very small event at Miller High Life Theater downtown. There was a Q&A, they did some games, and then you could get one autograph after. Didn't really seem like anything worthwhile.

I went every year even as far back as Brookfield Square days. I loved going for the rummage sale and getting game used jerseys and bats for what was rummage sale prices. One year it flipped and you'd be hard pressed to get a relief pitcher that got DFA'd for under 250. It was a great event in it's heyday, but I won't miss it.

If there's ever going to be a mid-offseason fan event again, the Brewers will start promoting it during the preceding season.

And to Bikeage's point, the 2024 clubhouse sale authentics area was trying to sell an Andrew Chafin gamer for $350.  That's just asking for bad mojo.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

IIRC '24 was supposed to be two days at the Miller High Theater but was cancelled due to snow. '23 was the bar one at Dugout 54 on Bluemound. '22 and '21 didn't happen due to Covid. '20 was the last time a proper event occurred.

That's my vibe on this thing as well. I don't think it makes the team money, so they probably just want to spend their limited resources elsewhere. These things were primarily used to keep interested in the team during the off season when the team was bad. But now that we are good, it's not really needed as the fan interest will be there come season start.

Plus I'm sure it's hard getting players to visit during the winter months, most of these guys are Florida, Arizona, Cali guys they don't want to leave their families and come up here in winter. Let's just be honest.

A cursory check shows me that the Braves, Guardians, Tigers, Angels, Brewers, Yankees, Phillies, Mariners, Blue Jays, and Nationals do not have a fan fest of any format in 2025.
