The future of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans could be decided Tuesday. Here's what's on the table

Just posting as an FYI, and whenever I read speculation about MLB eventually reducing the MiLB full-season affiliate count lower than 120 (four per parent club), I just roll my eyes. These communities are investing (have invested) so much to comply!

They really need to lean in and re-name them the Mermen.

I think Coleman Crow got away with a ball 4 that was not called, not sure if the ump was off, or the scoreboard/announcer and batter were off.

But next pitch it is a fly out for out #2.

Crow through 2 innings, only 26 pitches. Fastball is 92-93 and he has a good breaking pitch. He reminds me a bit of Logan Henderson but less upper zone heat and the offspeed looks like slider maybe as opposed to change, I think.

They had it as a walk in GameDay originally then changed it.

Looks like the Muddies score - a walk then a single by Made where there was play at the plate to get Rodriguez, and Made takes 3rd base. Then an error score Made. 2-1 Muddies

I think it was ball 4. I'll have to go back to watch it again

And big Eric B with a double to score another couple of runs, and Muddies up 4-1

But Welch surrends a homer and the Lugnuts tie the TRats - nuts.

Wilken with another walk and 2 men on, starting something against uber prospect Noah Schultz.

I'm watching without audio and I couldn't tell if he was throwing an 85 mph change or a hanging slider that doesn't do anything. Either way it's hanging up over the middle.

Just curious  which game are you watching?

Myers worked a 1-2-3 fifth adding another strikeout to the ledger while Peguero put up a zero in the sixth.

Meanwhile a trio of walks from Alfaro, Delgado, Clarke and a Jimmy Herron sac fly have NASH up on the board 1-0.

Sorry, started watching Carolina but now I'm watching Biloxi. Was referring to Crow. I think he looks good but his secondary stuff is iffy.

I think he has a slider maybe and a change up - one is mid 80s and one is high 70s just going by the gun data. Batters are not seeing it or hitting it well.

The high 70s pitch is definitely a curve. Looks like a potentially great pitch.

Top of the 5th, and Noah Schulz - top prospect. He is at 65 pitches with 5 H and 5 BB allowed. That is almost like a slugfest for the Shuckers

Zavier Warren single and Garrett Spain walk have two on, one down for the Shuckers trying for more.

& Luis Lara delivers the RBI single, 3-0 Biloxi.

Great single to RF for Lara, now 2-3 and Warren just beats the tag, 3-0 Shuckers. Now runners at 2nd & 3rd and only 1 out. This is against one of the top pitching prospects in baseball

Big spot for Pratt. He missed a double, lining it about 3 feet into foul territory, works a full count and a hard hit ball right at the 3B who nails Spain at the plate, rather easily.

But they chase Schultz who was at about 80 pitches through 3.2 IP. That is a solid outing for the beleaguered offense.

Although unless the TRats get something going, they will soon be the bottom dwellers of the organization.

Well - TRats won't get anything going right now as GameDay says Rain Delay.

I'm watching Biloxi and keeping tabs on Muddies for now.

So Schultz is #10 on the BA Top 100, and Coleman Crow out-pitched him big time tonight, so Crow is the #9 prospect now ??

That’s how it works, right ?!?!?

For tonight that's how I see it 😉

But Wilken Ks.  He is not swinging the bat. He is drawing walks, but King and just not swinging. Is he working on pitch recognition, or just unsure at the plate??  Adams is swinging more recently, and Wilken has taken the mantle from Luke I think.

Meanwhile Muddies bust it wide open - it is now 9-1!

Made singles with bases loaded, and the Garcia with a single and Dinges with a double.

Back to Birmingham, first hit off Coleman Crow a single stretched into a double.

Garrett Stallings put up a 1-2-3 seventh and Yoho followed up with a zero in the eighth (1 H) to keep NASH up 1-0.

Yoho only needed 14 pitches to get thru the eighth, maybe comeback out in the ninth for the two inning save?
