Will RF Daz Cameron homer for the 4th straight game? RHP Carlos F. Rodriguez (1.40 ERA with 25 Ks in 19.1 IP) has been stellar through 4 starts. Nashville needs to put it together at home to even their series 1-1 with Durham.

AA Biloxi aims for its first victory (and runs) of this week’s home series against Montgomery. RHP KC Hunt (7.59 ERA with 12 Ks in 10,2 IP) makes his 4th start of 2025. SS Cooper Pratt has hit safely in his last 4 games.

17-year old SS Jesus Made is back in the lineup after missing 2 games, while 19-year old RHP Bryce Meccage (4.50 ERA with 6 Ks in 8 IP) makes his 4th start of the season, this time trying to even their series at Columbia. DH/INF Luis Pena’s hitting streak is now 11 games.

I really hope Biloxi can figure out how to work their broadcast. It's just so bad. The delay between the CF camera and the other cameras is only getting worse.

It's gotten unwatchable today. If a player puts the ball in play you don't eve get to see where the contact point because the CF camera is so far behind that the pitch hasn't even gotten halfway to home by the time they pan to the camera behind home plate and even then the ball is already out of the infield or to the infielder when the camera switches. Probably pushed near 2 seconds now in the video desync. Just take me back to 2024 and the home plate camera. That was better than this crap.

21-year old RHP Ryan Birchard (4.70 ERA, 9 Ks in 7.2 IP) got the Game 2 start at Cedar Rapids for High-A Wisconsin, his 3rd of the young campaign. Unfortunately, the team is producing just 3.25 runs per game (vs. league average 4.87). CF Yhoswar Garcia returns to the lineup after being a late scratch yesterday.

Ryan Birchard had a terrific outing, allowing just 3 hits and a walk over 5 innings (1 run); while striking out 5 Kernels.

Unfortunately, only 18 T-Rats have come to the plate through 6 innings. Yes; that’d be perfect game territory, except for 1 Juan Baez opposite field single (erased by a GIDP 1 pitch later).

They’re on a rain delay. trailing 3-0 thru 6 innings.

It’s a night of rain across much of the land, as the Sounds and Mudcats have both succumbed to the elements:

- Nashville to make up this game via Thursday doubleheader
- Carolina to make up its game via Friday doubleheader

At least the runs are raining down for Biloxi: 10 of them on 11 hits through 8 innings, led by table-setter RF Garrett Spain and LF Zavier Warren with 3 hits and 3 RBIs each.

KC Hunt tossed 6 strong innings (1 R, 2 H, 2 BB, 5 Ks).

Be still my heart. The Shhhhuckerrrrs tonight. That’s extra Hs and Rs. Garret Spain has really helped that offense. Pratt and Lara with hits. Wilken still deep in the struggle with a 2B but 3K - boy will his prospect status ever rebound.
Talk about a rebound - KC Hunt with a good outing statistically - 6 IP, 2H, 2BB and 5K on 86 pitches. Sothe Biscuits have 4 hits in the series yet it’s a 1-1 series so far. Because, you know, baseball. 🙄

EDIT - nevermind - the Biscuits have 6 hits because you know there were other pitchers after KC Hunt. But still 3 runs and 6 hits allowed in two games is good pitching for Biloxi.

T-Rats get a run back, and now bottom of 9 Garcia singles steals a base and goes to 3rd on a wild pitch and Areinamo gets him home with a grounder. But 2 outs. Burke up and 3-2 count down to the last strike, and he takes strike 3 at the knees. Ugh. Have to at least swing there.

A 3-2 loss. Heart break last night with a walk off against, and just no full comeback in them tonight.

This is not a Victor Estevez team -- yet. He is at the helm and has a few good players, still trying to figure them out. They are staying competitive but no extra gear yet.

If Areinamo ever moves up there is not much in that line up, unless Burke can start to hit, or several current Muddies get promoted.
