T-Rats now trail 1-0 in the third frame after a double high off the LF wall and a high relay throw Home from 1B Blake Burke. Better throw up the 3B line likely gets that runner but it would have been bang-bang regardless.

A weak grounder skips off the diving Baez's glove and just makes it into LF scoring Quad Cities' second run. The T-Rats trail 2-0 headed to their half of the third frame.

Doesn't get the out but SS Jesus Made continues to shine. Another absolute web gem of a play deep in the 3B hole on the LF grass. my word. 2:10:25 for anyone wanting to see our bourgeoning Five Tool Wizard.

Stalling just gave up a two run bomb over the RF wall and suddenly the Shrimp lead 2-0. Booooo! 412 feet to deep RF. No doubt about it.

Delmarva is 4-for-4 SB vs the Meccage/Walther battery. Man on seoncd base bottom of 4. 10 Delmarva hits to 3 hits for the Mudcats. AND, another XBH off Meccage. A stand up triple for Nate George. 6-1 Shorebirds. George is a HR away from the cycle. Absolutely owning Meccage.

Different pitcher on the bumb. Walther nabs the first SB attempt. 1-for-5 today for Walther. Big out. Lead-off HBP off the board.

RHP Dikember Sanchez appears to be on to something in his ongoing Low-A work. Hit a batter. Walk a batter. Catch them stealing. Walther catches his second SB attempt of his fifth frame after Sanchez first hit a batter and then walked a batter on 5 pitches. The second runner had it stolen but did his best Durbin and overslid the bag. Interesting new angle from Sanchez here. Given his season, this may be his best approach?

RHP Justin Yeager on in the 8th trying to keep a 1-0 game a 1-0 game just gave up a deep ball over the LF wall. Belt high heater. Yeager continues to be hit-and-miss of late. 2-0 Shuckers trail.

Sounds threatening in the 8th. Down 2-0. They now have the bases juiced with nobody out after Zamora's walk. Looks like a pitching change is coming.

Well TRats scored a few - Dinges singled home a run and Blake Burke with a 2 run HR.  4-3 deficit

Hayden Robinson pitches 1.2 scoreless innings with 2H, 1BB, and 3K.  Tobias comes in and pitches to two batters. Encouraging seeing more than an inning for Hayden.

Made-Peña-Bitonti get hits in the the 9th to make the final score looked better.  It’s a 13-6 deficit with 2 down in the 9th.

TRats take the lead! Wild pitch with bases loaded, the Baez fielders choice, Areinamo single and Dinges fielders choose and its a 7-4 TRats lead!!

Back from rooster wrangling and farm chores. I am greeted with RHP Yerlin Rodriguez allowing his 7th and 8th inherited runnners of his season to score in 13 total runners inherited. Yeeesh. They scored in typical fashion: WP and a behind the count hanger double. Back to pitch shape: if you want to see the importance of 'tunneling' because Yerlin can't consistently tunnel anything he can't unleash his full toolkit. He is a consummately restrained wild pitcher. Incredible raw stuff. Can't use it.

It's 6-1 Mudcats trailing in the top of the 7th!😅

Baby steps. Woessner gets a scoreless inning if relief and is given a lead. But goes single, GIDP, walk, single and can’t finish the 8th.  Broca WP and then 2run 2 out single. 7-6 TRats still lead.  On to bottom of 8

AZ Crew getting some hits and runs. Encarnacion with a run double. Then Perkins with a single. 3-0 Brew Crew in the desert.

Oh crap @Joseph Zarr - I keep forgetting you watch on delay.

But I guess if you don’t want spoiler alerts ignore my updates 😂

Oh I don't care to learn ahead of time. I am more explaining that 12 runs are scored from the 7th inning on. That's wild. I'm in the bottom of the 7th now. Men on 1st and 2nd. 3-0 count. One down. Looks like Rivera getting worked on the bump after that walk bases are juiced. 1-1 count and he just absolutely hangs one dead center. Yeah. Comes back and fires a high heater about a foot above the zone up and in. 10-1 Muddies deficit. AND, he walks the next batter. And, Stanley is going to do that Stanley thing here: eat this outing for the squad.

Sorry, Perkins singles but Quintana - who is coming alive - with the RBI single. 3-0. Montero grounds out to end the half inning.

Heading into the sixth the T-Rats had no business being in the game. Outhit 10-1. Down 4-0 but QC kept stranding runners. Credit to the Rattlers for hanging around and continuing to battle.

Good things tonight - Hardin 6IP, only 1 R, and 6K for Biloxi in a loss that would have made the ‘24 Shuckers “proud”. Nice pitching though.

Pena keeps hitting- and I can’t tell if I’m upset that Made/Pena can’t take this team on their shoulders offensively without Dinges/Adamczewski and with Payne hurt/struggling and Bitonti struggling. Or if I’m happy that Made/Pena are holding their own as very young 18 year olds with the weight on the team on their shoulders?

Areinamo-Dinges-Burke 4-12 with only 1 K and driving in 4 of the 7 runs. Broca in for the ninth….

Ahhhhh, yes LHP Anferrny Reyes comes aboard inheriting Rivera's mess (another walk to load em up) and gives up a patented bloop goose snort double down the LF line. Nice poke. Booooo! 13-1 deficit. And there it is.

Broca closes the door. TRats come from behind win in a game they had no right being in

Az Brew Crew get hits - 9 hits through top of 4th, wait 10 hits.  4-0. Nice offensive showing by the baby crew.

Fun fact - Max Durrington plays for the ACL A’s - Trent Durrington’s son

OK calling it a night. Both Wisconsin teams win. Otherwise not a lot of offense outside of Wisconsin, the desert and the one DSL club.

2:48:35 Dinges shows off that cannon arm with the best throw I've seen from him to 2B. Just a sublime dart off an improbably off-speed Woessner toss in the dirt. Incredible play.

Sounds had runners on the corners and nobody out in their top of the 10th after a throwing error got Alfaro aboard 1B. Zamora hits the ultimate death knell grounder directly to the SS and the runner is thrown out at home. Delgado grounds out weakly to the pitcher. Quero grounds out weakly to the, you guessed it, pitcher. Payamps loses the game giving up a hard hit chopper over the diving Vaughn (who at 5'10" certainly doesn't offer a lot of length there) into RF. Sounds lose 3-2. THey will rue the bases loaded no out opportunity where they only managed to get two runs across with no ball hit particularly hard in the process. They deserved that game one loss.

2:50:55 Dinges shows his savvy once again. Set to receive from Woessner (just walked a batter), Dinges notices the runner left early and points to 2B with emphasis so Woessner is aware. Woessner turns, and seemingly incapable of throwing an accurate ball anywhere throws the ball into the dirt to 2B (with plenty of prep time) and Areinamo being the savvy fielder he is calmly collects it and tags the runner. That was all Dinges and Areinamo. Woessner nearly botched it! LOL.
