60% playoff odds which is crazy because I was posting about selling not that long ago it seems

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

I'm surprised it's even 60% cuz the MLB hates the Brewers as much as Dems hate Trump.

Could be worse.  Someone else who also posts a lot in the minor league forum, who I will allow to remain anonymous, said:

I think any trade obtaining Quinn Priester where we gave up any value is a nightmare of a deal, he is just not a MLB caliber starting pitcher.

There were a lot of technical issues back then. The internet had just been invented. AI hack swarms. Solar flares. Plastic surgery and surgical implants (popular in fringe sports forums) impacted my fingers for weeks right around the time of the Priester trade, for example. A lot of my "This is really good value!" thoughts turned into two months of doom and gloom. Crazy!

Priester has been pitching good but not enough info yet for me to be #3.  Today will tell everyone a lot more about Quinn "The Hawk" Priester.

I think Quinn solidified his #3 designation today 💪

HR, HR, walk, single, single, HR, triple.

7-2 Cubs

yeesh

As much as I hate to say it, Chicago's offense is no joke.  Yuck.

Quinn Priester ERA last 7 games ERA 2.29 and Hoskins beaned.

It’s one of my pet peeves so I’m going to point it out every time I see it. A player is only “beaned” when he’s hit in the head

A nice snappy victory this afternoon. We are up to 5-0 for the season in games attended.

Astros bullpen gave up like 6 runs to the Cubs in five minutes. They suck.

All of those runs were charged to McCullers, who started.

Yeah, but let's not jump off a cliff if he has a bad outing.  I was talking to Mrs. Samurai on our walk and asked, "When do you think they will have the downturn that is inevitable?"

I think I spend too much time on here because as as Priester was pitching, I was thinking, "Yup... bad trade, huh?"

The numbers didn't show it was a good trade to start out with... or maybe questionable.  We all know that all Brewers minor league prospects come up and have a WAR of 10 in their first at bat... 😉

I think it goes to show that the Brewers pitching methodology (coaching, lab, etc.) works.  Nobody can question that.  Also, kudos to the scouts for seeing something.

Not worried about any other teams (way too early for that yet). Do our thing and keep it rolling.

4-2 home stand is about the minimum for a Pirates and Rockies stretch. 5-1 would be excellent if we can make it happen tomorrow. Good day to get greedy.

I think the Padres, Giants, and Cardinals are going to fade a bit (SD and SF have all those games against LA and each other, and the Cards are out over their skis IMO). I don't know if we can catch the Cubs. I feel like we should be right in the WC race up the end at the very least.

I did not know that but makes sense I guess I will say plunked from now on.
