Should Quintana even be on the playoff roster.  Send post

If Hall is back and they get Gasser up soon (he's moved to Nashville's pen) it might actually be questionable.  That's some length for crafty bullpen usage.  Plus only three starters are needed in the NLDS this year.

Man we just do not make anything look easy in the last month.

I echo that Quintana shouldn’t be getting the ball much in the playoffs.

Just bring Haase back for godsakes

Haase isn’t doing crap and that’s in Nashville. Just bring up the #62 prospect in baseball who happens to be a catcher in AAA in our system.

He shouldn't make the roster.  Protect Murphy from himself.

I'm not feeling particularly good about any of our starters going into the playoffs.

I'd be shocked if he came up this year. Would be cool if they gave him the backup job next year though and let Contreras DH 40-50 games.

I don’t think they will either, but I also wouldn’t see any problem with it.

The Brewers always seem to struggle against Mikolas just like they used to against Quintana. I know they have gotten to him a few times, but more than not it has been like this.

Since coming back off of the IL, Bauers has a .969 OPS and a 1.204 OPS over the last 6 games.

Ride the hot hand.

Vaughn is .364/.417/.455 in his last 7 games, so it’s not like he’s been scuffling.

Unlike Bauers, Vaughn has shown long-term stretches of being capable of carrying this offense when he’s on.
