Former Brewers 40-man roster RHP Cam Robinson has been released by Tampa Bay. Robinson, 26, excelled in indy ball in 2025 and then in a brief Dominican Winter League stint as that link shows, netting him an affiliated contract with the Rays in December. However, he's now lost his spot within that organization.

September note:

"RHP Daniel Missaki, 29 years old, re-upped with the Rangers. Though he was one of the three lottery tickets in the Adam Lind trade that netted Freddy Peralta, Missaki never formally appeared in a Brewers affiliate game due to injury."

UPDATE: Rangers have placed Missaki on the full-season IL.

He pitched for Brazil in the 2013 WBC:

Brett Sullivan Has earned another 40-Man opportunity. He capitalizes on his non-roster Rockies invite and makes the opening day roster:

Quote
  • Non-roster catcher Brett Sullivan, a left-handed hitter who has seen Major League time with the Padres (2023-24) and Pirates (2025), has made the team because of his strong spring and left-handed bat. Right-handed hitting Braxton Fulford, a rookie last season, will begin the year at Triple-A Albuquerque.

Full MLB Link HERE. Sullivan will leave the Albuquerque Isotopes clubhouse behind him, for now, where former Brewers RHP TJ Shook and OF Drew Avans will look to keep his locker  tidied and clean should he return.

Not surprising in the least. I touched on it last season multiple times: If he didn't get injured in the first half of 2025 I think he was at the front of the line for a IL replacement call-up. He just does so many disruptive things on the diamond - his speed translates all over. And, he also seemed to be tapping into a bourgeoning power stroke. His penchant for the swing and miss will be the biggest X Factor in his staying power. This is awesome news!

I will be putting together a post by Week Two of the minor league season showing where within minor league affiliated ball Brewers farmhands from 2025 landed after either trades, Minor League Rule 5, their releases or in minor league free agency, so you'd be able to quickly click on an MiLB page link to check in on how they're doing.

Quick updates:

RHP Travis MacGregor assigned to AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Yankees).

OF Hedbert Perez assigned to AA New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays).

Beyond the Sounds victory and the Brewers comeback sweep, easily my favorite moment of this Sunday. It's beautiful. Nice of Joey to open his season 8-for-8 with 2 HR and a 3B at Wrigley.

*for those not aware that is also former Brewers Minor League OF'er Corey Ray fulfilling his duties as Nats 1B Coach*

I'm not sure if we caught this earlier - i.e. RHP Jesus Liranzo (3.39 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, 9.9 K/9 in 58.1 IP in Nashville last year) plays for the Yakult Swallows of the NPB.
