It took Carlos Rodriguez 82 pitches to get through 3.2 innings, but there’s progress as the only run conceded was a leadoff homer in the bottom of the first inning.

Nashville trails 1-0, now in the 5th inning.

Wisconsin is out-hitting Quad Cities 10-1 and leads 5-2 entering the bottom of the 5th inning.

Wande Torres tossed 71 pitches on 4 days rest, covering 3.2 innings.

Yerlin Rodriguez got the final out of the 4th inning (after a walk) and remains in for the 5th.

Yerlin walked 2 batters to open the 5th inning, adding an errant pickoff throw and wild pitch to the mix to excite the Quad Cities crowd, but buckled down to deliver 3 straight swinging strikeouts (including big bat Blake Mitchell) to strand both baserunners in scoring position.

5-2 Wisconsin leads as they head to the 6th inning (scheduled to play 7).

Leadoff walk for Jones, hard hit single the other way for Leonard. Nobody out.

Hurtubise, Zamora and Jett to follow.

Wilson’s getting crushed 8-0 in the 4th inning.

We’ve got no hits, but we do have 4 errors.

Not likely to be a fun bus ride back from Salem.

Carlos Carra conceded 4 runs (3 earned) in 3 innings, while Andrew Healy is trying to handle the 4th inning.

Braylon Owens is expected to start the second game in a bit.

Boy that's maddening. Trailing 4-1 in the bottom of the 7th, Biloxi had a great chance for a big inning, getting 2 walks, 3 singles and no outs by batters.

However, 3 outs on a basepaths (caught stealing third, picked off, out at home) limited them to 1 run. They still trail 4-2.

Ugh. That is so disappointing.

and Wilson - the offensive struggles are real. This is similar to the Mudcats we watched late last year, only without much pitching help.  With the big club struggles this week, and only a handful of prospects having a good show, the massive expectations for this season are clearly being tempered at the moment,  sigh.

Looks like Adamczewski might have gotten hurt when he crashed into the wall in LF after his catch as I don't think he's played a game since then?
