Mitchell has been so key to this team, took so much criticism from Brewers fans in Spring Training and these game threads. Just continues to produce when he plays.

The fact he is playing on a $950k contract is incredible. Whatever arbitration bump he gets next year is worth it to us x3. Fortunately for the Brewers/unfortunately for him I imagine the Brewers still hold good leverage in that scenario and he will be playing next year on another favorable contract?

Don’t all (first three year players) play on a $950k contract?

yes, solid contributors who are pre-Arby definitely earn their keep.

i’ve been impressed by Mitchell.  Nice to have him healthy this year

950K was his first year Arby's salary on account of all the time lost to injury.

MLB minimum is 780K.

My mistake.  Actually kind of a bummer that he’s starting to put it together and we only have 2 more years of control.

i wonder if both parties would have interest in something like 4/$24? That could become something like 4/$32 with incentives.  He locks in some life changing money, Brewers recoup some of their patience with him.

Yeah I have to imagine he's never going to get super pricey in arbitration because he hasn't been able to build up any volume of stats.
