Last time Brewers scored 22 was in 1992 at Toronto……..I was at that game!

I only listened to that game on the radio, but I will never forget it. I was in school in Michigan, so I was able to get the Blue Jays’ radio feed, back in the days when you had to practically use your body as an antenna to try to pick up out of town games. The Brewers had their best shot at the playoffs in years, but then the Blue Jays traded for David Cone, which was really deflating. Cone was set to pitch the next day, so he was charting pitches in the dugout. I remember feeling like the Brewers’ outburst that night was a defiant gesture against their fading postseason hopes. The Jays won the division, Bando gift-wrapped Molitor for them in the off-season, and that was basically the end of the Brewers for the better part of two decades.

Very late to this but that HR by Yelich was pretty big at the time as it had the makings of a game where the Brewers let their opponent hange around, fortunately things escalated quickly for the Brewers. Very odd that Wilson had a couple of lefties warming and still didn't make the change against Yelich. It's not like Murphy has shown he is willing to sub in Vaughn for Yelich during a pinch hit opportunities.

Can't challenge pitches when position players are pitching

There goes my theory that Sanchez wanted to pitch so he could waste our final challenge.

They’ve scored 22 runs twice: against Toronto and Seattle.

Brewers build that run differential by bullying expansion teams.

im arriving late to the game & there appears to be no new game thread. What am I missing here?
