They have the second most runs scored of NL teams making the postseason, only behind the Cubs. The Dodgers are a touch behind us. The rest of the field, insanely behind us. AL? None of them are even near us in runs scored either.

The offense is not some limiting factor.

You have to wonder if Harrison is another Eric Lauer / Bryan Hudson, or another pitcher with a great half season or so.  It is possible, he and a new arm angle and more velocity earlier in the season and now that they have changed or regressed he is more hittable.  The organization does sometimes get the best 0.5-2 years out of guys.  No shame in his incredible first half. 

The problem is who is starter #3/4 in playoffs.  It’s Miz (hope he is not overworked and get him on the home mound more often), then Henderson.  Then Drohan and Gasser??  It would be nice if Woody came back he could be opener with Gasser or Drohan following as starter #3.  Then game 4 is a bullpen game?

The best part about winning a world series would be ending the stupid, "you have to hit dingers to win in the playoffs" trope.

You used to have to hit dingers in the regular season to win, too.
