I wonder how many tickets they sold.

It would be less than the capacity for a game because there are seats that don’t have a view of the big board.

On the subject of alternative arrangements does anyone have any experience with taking a shuttle from Saz’s?  We usually just park in the stadium lots, but for the WS games they are charging $77. I am thinking about going to a place like Saz’s that is between the stadium and my daughter’s house in Tosa because I will be picking her up before the game.

I wouldn’t mind avoiding driving in the stadium traffic either.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Everything is about the money.

How much more can they squeeze out of lifelong fans, and those lifelong fans pay it, whatever they charge, it gets paid.

It's a disgusting part of being a fan, and if anyone thought it wouldn't be like this, then I don't know where you've been the last decade.

Money turns the wheels, and until the line is crossed (the line that fans will stop and say "hey, this is freaking nuts, I'm not paying that") the prices will continue to soar, and people will continue to over pay...........for everything!

It's beyond gross. but obviously, that line has not yet been crossed, as everyone just keeps shelling out cash like it's tap water...

I'm not trying to judge anyone but I don't quite get wanting to be there that badly to watch a screen...and still do traffic etc. Different strokes I guess but I kinda had to be convinced even to go to a real game. I just like being at home.

I was a little skeptical of what it would be like for NLCS game 4, but it was an absolute blast. It was like being at a game (aside from watching on the scoreboard vs the field). The people and workers were ecstatic to be there and it was just an overall great vibe. Happy to have gotten tickets to WS game 4 watch party.

I get all that, but I was referring to $2-300 secondary market for a watch party. If I didn't get a $15 seat, I'd just stay home.

Shuttles are definitely the way to go. I live in Tosa on the very border of MKE/Story Hill, so Brewers shuttles have become my way of life. Nearly everything has a shuttle on Bluemound. I'm partial to Dugout 54, as they run 3 or 4 shuttles so the wait isn't too bad, and there's a sort of gentlemen's agreement to just grab a beverage or two, and give the driver a few bucks. Some places require purchases to get an actual ticket etc. I usually get a beer and a roadie for the ride.

If you don't mind walking a few blocks, Wisconsin and Wells west of Hawley are only a few blocks away from them all. Heck, even some (such as Magoo's) had shuttles for the watch party! My guess is all of them will for the next two.

The stadium isn't big enough for any of that to ever come into play. The demand far, far exceeds the constraints of the collective budget. If hypothetically you could fit 1 million seats into the stadium at $100/ea, these games would likely still sell out.

But 44k people is nothing. The team itself could have 3x the price and it would have sold.

For sure... even so I'd be willing to pay like $50... it was that much fun. Takes the sting out of not being able to afford $2500 for a seat. $2-300 is borderline absurd.
