I am doubting there were that many there, but still I was actually impressed with that number. On a Packers game day that seems good to me with the numbers we have put up the last week and a half.

Unless his last three starts are no hitters I am thinking there is no cahnce of this. However, there is a very good chance he is winning himself the role as the Vet in the pen next year.

With the Brewers having a 40-man roster crunch this offseason, I'd say it's pretty unlikely that Helling will be with the team in any role next season unless he agrees to a minor league deal with an invite to camp.

Oh, I feel that I must add something to the attendance talk. I agree with you. Today's showing was pretty weak. As a matter of fact, the entire weekend series was pathetic: Houston is in town, we were wtill mathamatically in the WC hunt, and we faces Clemens, Pettite, and Oswalt. I wanted to catch all three games, but could not.

As for Scoop thinking I was just bashing the crew: I thought you must have known I was just reverse jinxing them. I seem to have the unique ability to bash the team or players and they then have a huge game.

I hope people will treat the Packers the same way people treat the brewers when there not in contention, but that won't happen the packers can do no wrong is getting old.

Now I read Mr Helling, he who will be Moyerish from the age of 34 to 44 for the Crew, has gone 7 innings... and I think nothing given up - and I am not sure... and Ned is doing squeezes, and the guys are performing...

 

I THINK the score is 4-0 Crew into the bottom of the 7th...

 

This is much more exciting than just looking up the score!
