One may think that the Reds just "Brewered" that inning away.. but with 2 men on and no outs, it was because of some great pitching by Cappy and excellent D by Overbay that we got out of that one. That was no gift, we made that happen.

We wouldn't have Magruder in the lineup tonight if we DFA'd him and had Corey Hart instead. Uke is talking like it may be a few days at least.

Homer had Doug (don't call me Bob) Melvin on tonight and asked about calling up Prince (although Homer kept calling him Cecil) and Corey Hart to improve the bench. Doug said, blah, blah, blah, blah, "and that", blah, blah, blah, they get 30 at bats a week in the minors, we don't pinch hit except for the pitcher and maybe JJ, we don't need anybody to start right now, and Durrington improves our team speed.

Come on Doug, we could use a guy like Corey who gives us a bat and a guy who can play some centerfield.

Give us a couple more weeks of Wild Card fever, please!

Give that 3B ump credit... when Yost came out to challenge him, he checked with the crew chief instead of getting all hot-n-bothered and tossing Ned. That was *very* close but even these Reds homers agreed it was foul.
