Since I live south of the mason-dixon line I get to watch my Brewershttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif A few observations: strike zone is tight, about the size of an index card. Santos does not look good at all! His breaking ball is just hanging or is plowing the dirt. The Weeks throw was wild, but I don't think he would have gotten him at first anyway. Jenkins could have made the catch but it would have been a web gem. The Helms play in the first WAS a web gem. Eveland up in the pen, I'd like to see him pitch but not if Vic is getting shelled and we have bases loaded with one out, I smell a bunt!

And Mags is batting lefty! Yay!!!

This is a good decision to pinch hit. Victor has little command of his pitches tonight. But Magruder? Is it me, or has his left-handed swing deteriorated since the start of the season.

The only thing i can think of is he wants to save them for later in the game when he can double switch. This seems like such an important AB that I'd have gone with someone else though.

Its a good choice, IMO. Save the better PHers for later.

And that's exactly what Ned will say.

You've got to hope another situation like this comes up later.

a) Branyan is hurt 2) he's saving him for later in the game since Eveland won't hit for himself.
