Someone explain to me why Corey Hart can't come PH instead of Magruder . . . ?

Hart is a lot better served playing everday in AAA rather than rotting on the bench in Milwaukee for the sole purpose of not having to play Magruder 2-3 times a week.

It did not take Butch long to help Rickie and Prince adjust to the big leagues

You thought they'd both come up and reel off 57 game hitting streaks? - Give them a chance

I agree, I think both have done great so far and will continue to look good. I do not have much confidence in our hitting coach and hope he does not change much with them.

If Santos plays for St Louis, we're talking about a dark horse Cy Young candidate.

Friggin' shame our guys can't play defense/score for him.

I feel badly for our fans at the game...it's bad enough watching this from my living room. Way to go Brewers.

Sucks to be Cirillo -- made the last out in two consecutive losses. At least he hit the ball tonight and was only marginally squeezed (on the first strike).

one day bad baserunning

next day terrible fielding ( Weeks get in front of the ball)

every day lack of Clutch Hitting

Bottom line another losing season

Something had to be done and melvin has to skake up the team

another soory night in the stands as the cubs fans seem to be in abundance again tonight

on a non brewer note

yanks at one point down 10-2 come back to pull ahead 17-11

Seeing the Yankees score 20 runs tonight on 23 hits (13 runs in one inning) makes you really see just how pathetic this offense (and team) are. Without looking it up, I'll bet we haven't scored 20 runs in our last 6-7 games combined.

The Yankees scored 13 runs in one inning... I'm not sure that's indicative of, well, anything. (other than what a lineup consisting of Jeter, ARod, Sheffield, Matsui, Tino, et al can do once in a while).

How is it we keep improving parts of the offense (Weeks at 2nd, Hall at SS,3b, Lee in LF) and yet the offense continues to suck???
Posted
Probably because nothing clicks all at the same time. Tonight we got nothing out of our 2-3-4 hitters and nothing I can remember from 7-8-9. Carlos hasn't done anything in a couple of days. Nobody on base in front of Hall's homers. Once Jenkins got on all three times, nobody could do so much as even move him over. Ugly. Again.
