I wonder what it would take to get Wily Mo? He's a very interesting player but they would probably want too much to make it worth the Brewers while.

It probably shouldn't bother me too much, but I just get irritated every time I see Billy Hall in the #2 hole in the order. Couldn't they stick Clark or Ginter there? Other than the catchers, I don't know of a hitter on the team less suited to batting at the top of the order than Hall.

I feel your pain. I want someone else in there too, but then I reassure myself by thinking of all the studies that say batting order doesn't matter.

and Hall promptly K's. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Houston + FL both losers today. Some big streaks ended.

man on 3rd, no outs. Any takers on 0 runs scored?

edit: Gint pops out.

Helms Ks.

And here comes the Davis K. This team is way too predictable.

re Hall in the two spot...

Yes I can agree he is the LEAST suited there. In fact, EVERYONE agrees. So, the important question is, and do not take this lightly....

Why does the leader of our team, the manager, Nedster, not know what EVERYONE else in baseball knows? Should we worry about that lack of knowledge? Is this glaring lack of simple knowledge just the tip of the iceberg?

Man on third... nobody out... these guys should be ashamed to collect the pay cheques every month. They are indeed a complete disgrace.

Kind of crazy, but as much as I hate Valentin, I am intrigued by Hall, and they have the same tools.

Hall made that charger look easy and Kearns isn't slow by any means. I love the way he looks at 3b, but that right there looked nice

... and Hall k's for the 2nd time in as many tries.

edit: and Jenks. We K like it's our job.

Staying on the nice 2 per inning clip. Yay.

Did anyone see Podsednik running after that ball? He ran after it and threw it in lazily, if not, he could maybe have held Lopez to a double. Geez, lack of effort...lack of effort.

And what the hell was Bill Hall just doing throwing home ??

They had the infield in, as they seemingly always do, and so that was the right play. Hall just made a terrible throw and Lopez tip-toed around Moeller.

Boo.

interesting decision there. You have Moeller, arguably one of the slowest men in the game (behind only a few, like Eddie Perez, Julio Franco, and Carlos Baerga, who look like they're running on ice), and you send him. Still, it took a perfect throw to get him by 6 feet, and Pena did sail one into the stands last month. If Moeller had represented the tying run, I'd be pissed

but my sportsline game tracker says (with Helms on third and Moeller on 2nd)

Podsednik singled to center, Helms out at home... score remains 2 - 1

Of course, my f-bomb did not go down here well at work.

Can I calm down, did Helms manage to make it home from third on a single to center field?
