Brewers only score in 1 inning and we lose on a homer to a kid hitting like .122. This is enough to drive any fan crazy. Well I guess Claussen did deserve the win and we're giving him that. This road trip could and might be getting ugly fast.

I'm sad

They do have Santos and Sheets going against Williams and Marquis in StL. I wouldn't call this a season yet, or a game yet. I think they're going to come back.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Yeah, the Stl matchups do look pretty decent for us. Course we probably WILL need to score more than 2 runs at some point...

I'm not giving up on the season, yet. I guess anytime your #2 pitcher gives up a Homerun to "Corky" Romano, you start thinking irrationally for a few. We miss Morris and Carpenter in the Lou, so you gotta be happy about that!

Edit: Whoa! That pitch Hall swung at missed by like 2 feet.

why in the world would you let the Pitcher bat up in the 7th in that position, just some of his moves are really questionable.

this team really can"t get a clutch hit any where and agin allows a reserve to beat us.

this is not the way to play heaing into a big week with the card for 2 and the astros over the weekend and the cunbbies next week

This team has to be the worst team hitting in the clutch and i got a weird feeling that the pitching is going to start to go away.

BTW STL can throw anyone at this team right now and still win

Bases loaded, oh well lets leave him in there. By God, this is ridiculous.

EDIT: Now you can bring Burbs in to make him look bad by giving up Davis' runs, that is flat out poor game management!

I am getting the sense that management has given up.

How else do you explain Melvin sitting on his hands and Yost managing like the outcome of games is meaningless.

Now, I realize this is absolutely impossible for anyone to grasp, but I'll try it again:

THE BREWERS OFFENSE IS BAD IN ALLLLLLLL SITUATIONS.

The Brewers could go hitless for the first 8 innings, get a leadoff double in the 9th and strand him, and people would say clutch hitting lost the game.

Stupid Brewers

How did I know the clutch hitting argument was going to come up? Once I saw that word in a post I knew it would be soon.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Fun while it lasted, boys -- but it's over.

We'll look back on today as when the tide turned for the season.

Let the selling mode begin.
