WGN has the most biased telecast. i can't stand them. and the braves annoucer puts me to sleep. only way to go is turn off the sound and put Bob on the radio.

I have always liked the Braves' subdued announcers. So much better than the "fake excitement" of so many.

Anybody else a little ticked we didn't pony up the extra cash to go after Reggie Sanders instead of Grieve? It's only about 60 at bats, but he's been a bargain for the Cardinals while Grieve hasn't even looked to be worth the low salary we're giving him.

Also, the team may have contacted his agent and we just dont know about it.

 

And Sanders, like many others, may not want to be here. I would think at this point in his career, Sanders would like to be on a contender.

 

I don't think Sanders would make enough of a difference anyway. Grieve was sort of low risk, and if long term he can't bounce back, we still have Clark, Ginter, and a few minor league options to play RF.
