Try as I might I just cannot give up on this team/dream.

 

Talk about Bizaro world. A couple years ago, I spent a lot of energy trying to convince people that being 4.5 games out and in 5th place meant it was over. Now I'm trying to convince people that being a half game out and in 2nd place means you are still in decent shape. Craziness.

Dang...a couple nice plays that inning by the Diamondbacks. Arizona is like what the Brewers would be if they could actually play some defense.

He's a much better hitter. He could have made the majors as a hitter almost for sure. He's at an .851 OPS for the year so far.

 

That's blatantly false. No one's a better hitter than Brooks, much less a lowly pitcher.
