Dusty to the Reds? (Official: Discussion in ML forum)

According to Rosenthal (Insert hugh grain of salt), he's the frontrunner. I guess we won't have to worry about the Reds for a while. Harang might throw 300 innings if this happens.

Not sure why the salt is needed, as Rosenthal is the most in-the-loop major writer out there.

Great, I WAS a little concerned about Bailey, but he'll have A single good year, and he'll be done.

 

I love how that team had FOUR very good pitchers(Clement, Wood, Prior, Zambrano) and now ONE'S been healthy.

I thought Mackanin did a nice job with that team. He certainly outfoxed Ned (I'm still waiting for that lefty to face Valentin) a few times, though that's not much of a qualification I'll admit. If they hire Dusty, then I'd put Mackanin on the Brewers radar though.
