Curt Schilling - latest: Close to re-signing?

ESPN just reported that Schilling is about to agree to a one year deal with the Red Sox.

 

I am really surprised, I thought for sure they were going to move on without him.

Looks like the Sox might sign him for below his perceived market value. Heck of a nice signing for them if it holds up.

It makes a lot of sense for both parties -- I kind of figured he'd end up in Boston, it was certainly nice to be on his radar.
