I used to love his stuff. He seems to love food and sitting on the sofa more than continuing his professional career though.

 

If he made a commitment to his profession and to conditioning, he'd be worth giving a shot.....but then again if he really did this, the Angels would never had released him.

Yes, I know this has about .001% chance of actually happening. I just wonder if moving Bartolo to the pen would be a wise move, given his conditioning. Just a thought, he can be such a talented pitcher it just seems to be such a waste to see him fall so far so quickly.

Colon could never make it as a RP. Could you imagine him trying to run in from the OF bullpen? He'd fall over before he ever made it to the infield.

He'd be interesting, but I strongly doubt he'd sign the kind of contract that would make the risk acceptable.

Oh man, that's a frightening picture. That being said, if Colon is motivated, he could be a great closer option.
