    I have no interest in trading any prospects this offseason...other than Gamel...simply because I don't view his as a prospect...Hope I am wrong.

    I really believe Greinke will be staying in MKE. Its a city that fits his personality and his personality fits the city. Eventhough when it is all said and done that we may have given up more in quality for Marcum, I would have no trouble trading Marcum. I am a big Narveson fan and think Filer or Estrada could be a #5.

    If you can sign Reyes....do it....strong up the middle is huge. I am just not convinced that we can/will sign him.

    I prefer Jason Bartlett to Barmes too, but not sure if he is a FA or not. Just looked...it appears he has a mutual option that has been exercised....so he is not a FA. I'm not saying that I don't want Barmes, I just like a coupe of others a little better. Jack Wilson's toughness and experience I think would be valuable if Green is at 3b.

    1. Prince...likely not happening sooo......1b. Jack Wilson SS ATL...Great glove...ok bat. I can live with his offensive lacking for defensive prowess. Backup guy....Jason Bartlett2. I am not a Gamel fan...So Casey Kotchman. If the team thinks Gamel might be the guy... Derek Lee. I have zero interest in Pena....would be OK with Lyle Overbay for a year. I love Cuddyear, but sounds like he might be Philly bound. A trade might make some sense.3. Resign our guys.I would feel pretty good about adding Wilson and a stopgap at 1b and inserting Green at 3b. I think our OF is solid if we bring back Morgan and Gomez....even though I think Hart is very overrated. Lucroy will get a little better....I think.Will we keep Marcum and Wolf or deal one??? That might be a big question to answer. Should be fun.

    If we lose Grienke, I will be more than ticked and feel like Melvin will have gutted our farm system for two years of pitching and likely one run with Prince. Small market teams can't do that. I really believe Grienke needs to be signed and Marcum dealt. Marcum really doesn't fit our power arm mantra....good pitcher, but deal him for a prospect and everyday player at 1b or ss.

    I would like Furcal, but he will likely resign with StL. If Reyes signs with Philly...how pricey might Rollins be?

    Marcum's performance in this series has been very disappointing...he has shown me nothing.

    Definitely need to explore all options...Marcum and Wolf should be on the market, deal the one for the best package. Go with Yo, Greinke, Wolf or Marcum, and Narveson as the top 4. Pick up a serviceable vet or throw Estrada out there. Many difficult decisions ahead....lots of things need to be discussed.

    It seems like the chances of finding an left handed vet bat for the lineup may be easier in the OF than 1b. I like Harts height at 1b.

    I just don't see Gamel in Mke's plans....call it a gut feeling.

    Grienke needs to be signed. Marcum??? It depends on how the contract is structured. Wolf comes off the books soon and Marcums deal could replace his....possibly. Trade wise, Marcum might be our best chip, but I am not sure what we have to replace him with.... is a minor leaguer ready? Our recent draft picks likely will not be ready for 3+ years. Maybe we buy out his last Arby year and do a 4 year 35 mil deal? This team will really need pitching as it loses a big offensive cog in Prince...besides the teams with the best pitching staffs are always in the race... Tough decisions ahead.

    I'm not jacked about a Minor league SS...I'd almost lean towards the older 1 year options.

    I would sign Grienke before Marcum...simply due to health...However, I think both need to be signed as Wolf hits the road.... I am willing to go with young guys at 1b and 3b (Gamel and Green) in exchange of keeping those two starters. Braun, Weeks, and Hart need to be the offensive fire power for this team. I am not opposed to a Lyle Overbay type of signing on a 1year deal as well. SS is a HUGE question mark....is Bentacourt a FA or in his last year with Arby years?

    Gotcha...then he is probably worth keeping....put the $ at ss.

    I question whether or not Casey will be a Brewer next season. I believe that his contract negotiations this season were a bit contentious...I might be wrong....If Tyler Green is ready at 3rd...I'd rather invest Casey's $ in a 1st Baseman and or Shortstop.

    I would like to see Micheal Cuddyer from MIN brought in to play 1st. 3 years at 30-33 mil would do it. He is a great locker room guy and productive. I like Kubel from MN too, but he is strictly a corner OF player.

    if we could get Beckham for Gamel.....I'd do it. I see Gamel as Billy Jo Robideaux....a very good AAAA player.

    when Morgan is playing...probably average...Gomez....below average with the bat....You are right...defensively they are ok.
