  1. Bill Schroeder's glasses are terrible. This is not the first time I have said this, lol
  2. Looks like Jansen and the Brewers will have a mutual option in '26 and UFA heading into the 2027 season if I'm reading it correctly?
  3. I would trade Henderson for Suarez because it would mean the Cubs didn't get Suarez and they might overpay for a lessor bat. I like Henderson and it would sting but I think the Brewers can afford him for the rental.
  4. I've been thinking lately that I wish the Brewers had Chourio for longer than what they do have him for. He's 21 and is becoming an offensive force.
  5. If Contreras must play, and it seems like he must, can't he be moved to like 5th or 6th at least? I know Murphy kind of likes a "second leadoff hitter" toward that sport but couldn't Contreras then act as a 2nd #2 hitter? I don't know who I would rather give 2, 3, or 4 at bats to but I would think Frelick, Chourio, Yelich, Vaugh, Collins? Maybe that 1-5 when Vaughn is going to play? Collins could slide into #2 spot if Vaughn is going to be on the bench. I think Frelick and Chourio need the most at bats, with Yelich 3rd. Until Contreras starts at least putting together more competitive at bats (I understand his power is going to be limited with his hand) he doesn't need to see the 3rd or 4th most at bats on the team, IMO.
  6. I also don't get Vaughn being taken out. It's not like the Brewers have bats to spare here. Mona is going to come up in a big spot.
  7. Leadoff double and the heart of the order says, "let's see how pathetic and stupid we can be".
  8. I mean Murphy needs to lose his mind. This has been garbage all friggin' weekend from this crew.
  9. The Marlins are doing to the Brewers what the Brewers did to the Dodgers and largely the Mariners. It's frustrating as hell. Feels like there are two distinct strike zones.
  10. I could probably find a few in April/May that were real ugly. This plate ump is absolute garbage.
  11. That 2-0 pitch to Yelich that was called a strike was one of the worst calls I have seen in a while. Not even close.
  12. Yeah it's been a real problem. The times Joey has looked competent is when the Brewers were winning 2 out of 3, etc. No one else is really hitting except Jackson.
  13. Why am I not surprised that you're the type of person to make up a scenario to get mad about, then get mad about that scenario? On brand. No one is "accepting" mediocrity. One team can win the WS every year -- one. You've set yourself up nicely to always say we're not trying to win when the Brewers - to the surprise of literally no one - doesn't win the World Series. Championships absolutely matter. We live in the real world and understand the Brewers have disadvantages. They're still in contention every year and have prospects to send. Last I checked, the deadline hasn't arrived and a deal can still be made. Rather than endlessly complain and and attempt to gaslight us, you could come up with some trade scenarios?
  14. That'll do it. No way this offense right now is coming back. Watch Yelich's weak ass AB coming in the bottom half of this inning.
  15. You cannot run there. You have to let Durbin get a chance to get the run in with less than 2 outs. Just stupid.
