Does it look like everytime Soriano catches a flyball he has a little hop right before he catches the ball? I've noticed that everytime he's caught the ball today, but not so much in the past.
"Reading the paper and the talkshows around you'd think Hack Wilson had come back to play for the Cubs" - Bill on Fukudome and the Cub fans. Classic. After the Weeks homerun it looks like Sandy Koufax has come to pitch for the Cubs as well. Jeepers.
Wow, nice play Hall. Maybe could have taken a bit more time with that throw but since it worked out then what the heck. Kind of one of those plays: "No, no no! oohh... okay."
Didn't he badmouth the city of Milwaukee a few years ago? Saying something like "Why would anyone want to go there. There is nothing to do there." I don't live in Milwaukee, so I don't really know what there is or isn't to do but it seems like some comments he could have kept to himself.
My bold prediction for 2008: I will have at least 1 heart attack during the course of the year. It's only game 1 and these two teams have picked up right where they left off. *disclaimer: apologies to those offended by a heart disease joke.
Simma don nah! We've got 161 more games, no need to get in arguments already. Save it for something good, like pulling Sheets after 1 single back up the middle. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
Trenni? That's a new one for me, for whatever the reasons her parents gave her that name I'm not going to complain because they gave her some pleasant looks.
Well Yost sure looks happy on the mound there, big ol' smile and everything... "Billy!! Loved your lead out there big guy! That's the sign of a gritty player there!"
