  1. Nice work, Freddy. Thanks for giving that up so quickly.
  2. The only way this goes better is if the Braves came back and won game 1 in extras.
  3. Now NY coming back and taking the lead prompting the Braves to use Sale in Game 2 would be wild.
  4. I have to assume it's on the player to bunt but I wish everyone on this team would just cease bunting completely. Just stop giving up outs.
  5. They should stop trying to bunt when they're gap-power+ hitters and there are two outs. Mitchell can hit the ball out of the ballpark or hit it in the gap. Stop bunting in that situation.
  6. I just didn't see it. Doesn't matter either way.
  7. Turner is, or should be, safe at second. Huh.. just not enough to overturn I guess. I thought he was safe on replay.
  8. Interesting that they're sticking with Koenig here. Matchups?
  9. Intentionally walking Turang to get to Chourio?! What in the world..
  10. Turang is borderline unplayable against LHP. Oh well, Rea is just going to throw some BP tonight.
  11. No kidding. Why even pitch to Ortiz? Turang isn't even competitive.
  12. Shouldn't have to stay up late tonight.
  13. You could park off Bluemound and grab a drink at the tavern and get a free shuttle. I usually go to Kelly's and park for free on the side streets.
  14. We saw Chourio get better at every level as he had his initial "getting to know the league" period. In MLB, you could start to see him sit on those outside breaking balls and start making better swing decisions but not having the luck toward the end of his "down days" which were what, into June? I honestly can't recall. I do remember seeing a LOT better at bats without the results but you could see him barreling more baseballs. The results are ridiculous, but it could also be a factor of getting big league coaching and perspectives rather than minor league perspectives. The minor league results were awesome; the big league results seem supercharged based on the coaching from teammates, better scouting reports/coaching, the confidence, etc. If he stays healthy, he's a perennial MVP candidate, in my opinion.
  15. Great job Rhys. Too many empty at bats again tonight. Same as last night.
  16. Not disciplined enough to lay off.
  17. Give Winn credit for sacrificing his body on that rocket. That guy's got a family to think about.
