    Thinking about this some more -- and don't take this like I'm picking on you here; but, I wonder if any of the thinking with Arnold and the Brewers are "why provide our potential matchups in the playoffs with competent arms or bats?" You wonder how often teams think this when the deadline comes around.

    I'm sure playing for a team that is going nowhere and you know they've been going nowhere your entire career might cause you to hot dog it on occasion. I see the same thing you do but would be curious to see the effort if he plays for a team that gives a crap.

    I've almost been hitting refresh on this particular board on the forum as often as I would when a trade is about to break in the hopes there is more news about draft picks signing. I realize it's probably a bit early yet but I am stoked to get some of these guys into the system.

    I'm marginally familiar with how pissed people can be with stealing, damaging, otherwise harming neighboring property but I can't imagine two billionaires (is Mark A an actual billionaire?) going at it.

    The check swing was terrible, as was pitch 2 to Ohtani that was right at the bottom of the zone. He needs to stop being "rewarded" when he steps away from a borderline pitch. I don't know if that's what is happening but that has been called a strike several times against MKE today.

    Strike 3 to Chourio was fairly generous.

    Exactly what I came here to post. He watches two pitches over the heart of the plate and swings at a ball that had no chance to do anything with even IF he connected.
