  1. Geez Mitchell. You'd think he'd start looking up or he just can't touch it anyway.
  2. I definitely hear you. Been a LOT of Brewer games that I have watched where they looked like they were going to have a big offensive night only to quit after the 1st. Looks better thus far tonight.
  3. "Unequivocally right" ... well, okay then. I guess we'll close the book on it.
  4. I'm looking forward to watching Wiemer play for the Reds. I know it wasn't going to work out in Milwaukee barring some serious changes and progress but I liked the way he played and felt like he could be a Gorman Thomas type player for us at his peak.
  5. The deadline feels like kind of a bust as a Brewer fan. I still think this team wins the division but they really need guys to step up and stop screwing around with empty at bats (easier said than done). They need more out of Peralta, too. That being said, I'm not sure I wanted to give up any of our prospects for what may or may not have been available; and again, I don't know who was really available or what level of discussions were had. It feels like the window for this team is just getting open, and I think they'll eventually move prospects for a controllable player (maybe not to Yelich's quality in 2018 but similar?) next year or the year after. As far as our offense the last month, I have to think part of it is getting into the dog days of summer and some guys may just be getting tired and making strange adjustments to compensate. Not sure what to really make of it as I'm not about to do any type of film studying of players' hands or loading mechanisms.
  6. He's probably not throwing out Mitchell but if our CF made a catch like Kelenic made i would be livid.
  7. "Well, we gotta do something!" - Matt Arnold, probably
  8. Mitchell swinging through middle middle fastballs doesn't inspire much confidence.
  9. Ozuna hitting an absolute tank off Rea is about the least surprising things ever.
  10. Of course Mitchell and Hopkins can't manage to get the job done.
  11. Everything is under a microscope when the team isn't swinging the bats well and making outs on the basepaths. Run prevention (with this staff) is only going to go so far. The offense needs to be better and the veterans need step up. At bats have been terrible by far too many for a while now, including the veterans and the younger guys.
  12. Yeah.. just hard to believe Mitchell was thrown out on that play. He must not have gotten a great jump. Turang looks tired. The team looks tired in general.
  13. You've got to be kidding me. Clearly out.
  14. For the common folk, sure. For an MLB bench coach and then manager? He'll probably be okay; especially when he vests 10 years in MLB.
  15. Real nice inning after a leadoff double.
  16. Can't they still conduct interviews?
  17. Y'all.. Murphy having his kids or grandkids at the press conference has no bearing on how the team does. If upper management or players had an issue with it, they'd tell him. It's probably time to just let this issue die.
  18. At this point Freddy needs to just give them some innings.
