  1. Kind of feels like one of those games the Brewers should win but just can't come up with the hit to bring in the load of runners they're getting.
  2. Eh, Willy, not sure any of those were strikes. Oh well.
  3. Blah, hittable pitch and Ortiz pops it up. Dangit.
  4. I hope the Brewers hold Holliday hitless this series.
  5. I'd be hesitant to move Contreras and Yelich around at all as they seemed to have found grooves and the offense is scoring runs. I know it may not be a big deal and I said it in another thread, but maybe there's something to plugging an individual into a spot in the lineup and just leaving them there.
  6. No kidding. I feel like the first 11 games of the season are vindication for years of futility of hitting with RISP for the Brewers.
  7. Still can't get the game to load on Bally. Oh well. Maybe some other time.
  8. None of the apps or website are loading the game. This is not a new phenomena.
  9. Bally Sports continues to be a dumpster fire.
  10. Awful news for him and the organization.
  11. Weather going to be an issue getting this game in?
  12. The Reds eating up a lot of innings with one reliever was a solid move.
  13. Really needed that from Joe Ross. Nice start.
  14. This team continues to have nice at bats with RISP. Man.. just a nice run right now. Love seeing Perkins contributing.
  15. Maybe there's something to this, where guys are going to know who's generally in front of and behind them and what they may expect. I like that Turang has basically stayed in the same 1 or 2 spots all year. I don't know if there's anything to hitters just settling into a spot but I did think it was a little annoying how there was almost zero consistency to Counsell's lineups. Maybe this is just an old guy yelling at a cloud but I have been somewhat pleased at seeing certain hitters being mainstays in certain spots.
  16. Agreed with Vinnie that I am surprised Ashcraft came into this inning and/or is still pitching. His velo was down last inning and was lucky to only give up 3. Oh well!
  17. Been a while since I've seen that. "Who's pitching in this game?"
  18. Surprised Frelick wasn't rung up on the pitch before the double.
  19. Yeah, he's been looking good so far. I like that he seems to be really hitting the ball hard on a regular basis.
  20. Team was playing with fire most of the day today so the result in this inning isn't very surprising. Like yesterday, they need to start putting together better at bats when they have runners on. Ah well.
  21. Need the offense to come up with a big hit when runners are on base.
