  1. The way both players have been swinging the bat lately, I'm not convinced Perkins has any sort of advantage over Chourio, therefore I was annoyed he was pinch-hit for. I hate playing in Houston.
  2. Man, you were doing halfway OK until you turned into the usual passive aggressiveness. Everyone has their opinions on Chourio. Just because they disagree you doesn't mean they think they're experts. They might just feel the Brewers are operating under more information than you are. I'm sure the Brewers look into their minor leagues and realize they'd rather roll with Chourio's ups and downs while he's batting 8th and 9th than put some career AAAA player in there. We'll see what happens with Mitchell gets back. The passive aggressive back and forth of Chourio to AAA/Chourio should stay here is becoming old. Y'all can live and die with every one of his at bats if you want. I'll realize he's a 20 year old skipping AAA who the Brewers want to be in Milwaukee and even though he isn't OPS'ing close to an every day player, they must feel this is more valuable than being in AAA. The team is still winning, afterall.
  3. Starting to pitch Chourio in rather than breaking balls away.
  4. 2nd opinion? Interesting. I've got better vibes tonight.
  5. Someone near a mic is on-point with their ump-hate tonight and still managing to keep it clean.
  6. I'm being a complete apologist here, but Chourio is still taking good swings on pitches he should be swinging at. Breaking balls that are in the middle of the zone. Eventually he is going to start zeroing in on those.
  7. Yelich needs to take a rip at that. Stay at 2nd Willy.
  8. Good job Vieira doing what he can to put this one out of reach.
  9. Not sure what Perkins is doing in that at bat but whatever. Frelick with a missile to left for the hit.
  10. He hit a ball down toward the right field corner and looked like he may attempt to leg out a double but then slowed up coming around first and looked like his leg (I thought his left) grabbed him a bit. He looked like he was clearly frustrated throwing his batting gloves down on the ground. Edit to add, even if he didn't pull a muscle, he likely was only going to stay at 1B on that hit as Reynolds got to the ball quickly. So it wasn't the muscle pull - or whatever it was - that led to him staying at 1B.
  11. Does Black come back up then, assuming Hoskins to the IL?
