  1. Adames would've watched it to swing at a pitch at his shoulders.
  2. Let's be thankful the OP isn't writing: "Article: The Case for Playing Ryan Braun at 3B."
  3. If the Angels are "going for it" I wouldn't mind the Brewers offering to take Rendon (providing Angels pick up a good portion of the tab). I know Rendon is hurt and having a terrible year otherwise. But if the price is right, I would like him to 3B woahs solvvd.
  4. Fantastic news. I'll be curious what the financials are. On paper this looks like a great draft for the Crew. Can't wait to get these guys going.
  5. Gotta take a pass at that last pitch, Turang. Dangit.
  6. Belt high, right down the middle and Perkins can't do anything with it. Then predictably Wiemer strikes out. Tell me this is fun.. please.
  7. Nelson looks to be throwing everything over the heart of the plate and these guys are taking the laziest swings.
  8. Those two at bats by Tellez and Adames.. pathetic.
  9. Didn't watch at all this weekend, and I turn this on and Burnes looks like crap. Time to turn it off.
  10. I'm not trying to be critical of Wiemer as I really am looking forward to his future, but sometimes I wish he were able to settle down just a bit at the plate and be a bit more selective. Still swinging at too many balls.
  11. His potential employers are also free to not hire him because of his viewpoints. It's not a free speech issue.
  12. He's a entitled douchebag and I am going to leave it at that.
  13. Count my as very happy the Brewers didn't (or weren't 'forced') to go this route. On paper, this trade is everything you'd want: trade from an area of strength for an area of need and getting two arms on top of the headlining player.
  14. I remember when he came up and made his MLB debut. Those were really exciting times to be a Brewer fan as they were right on the cusp of finally being competitive with these young players. I wonder if his decline was being overworked, bad conditioning, or just a combination of the two. I don't recall him ever really having over-powering stuff, but he threw his pitches for strikes. Later in his Brewers' career, it seemed like he nibbled more and more and I recall several times where he just couldn't get guys out before it was a 3-2 count with several foul balls.

  16. I think it's way too much for David Robertson; I hope the Brewers don't give FA relievers 3 year deals. I can't say much about the trades because I don't know a lot of the players but I appreciate the work that went into your proposals.
  17. "Forget about Yelich because he's just high-priced."
