Agree that it was a bit surprising (the inclusion of Quintana), but the odds of Quintana ever accumulating the .4 WAR that Lockridge already has for the Brewers are pretty long.

Pretty easy to make the argument that Lockridge has been more valuable to the Brewers than Cortes would've been. Without regard to what Lockridge may or may not do for the team over the next 5 years.

Who cares? So you you get 1 1/3 seasons of a useful player for 50 innings of nothingness.

That's possible, but id still rather have that option than Nestor Cortes.

I wouldn't. And it's not even close. 5 years of Lockridge>>30 innings of (maybe) league average innings.
