    I think less than Hader (rightfully so as you mentioned). It was posed in the Devin trade thread as a mid-tier prospect and 2 lottery tickets. That's about what I think they'll get if they go for prospects. Borderline top 100 guy and a couple 18 year olds. Having said that, I think they're going to try to trade him for help for the big club.

    I personally really hope they don't trade Civale and I don't think they will. I'd much rather have Civale than Bieber.

    This is my only fear with losing him. He is definitely a leader and clearly a big influence on Chourio.

    Anything longer than 5 will be terrible. I realize teams might give that 6th year to get him to sign but it'll be a mistake. I'd also be willing to bet he doesn't get to 12 WAR over the next 5 seasons.

    Does Willy get to 12 WAR over the next 5 seasons? My money would be on "not". I'm guessing his contract will be worth somewhere around or above 5/120 so that's what you're banking on as the signing team. There's almost no chance we're signing him which I am in favor of.

    Not weird at all. I would expect you'd keep the same attitude. Which is certainly your prerogative. I just don't understand why someone would come to this board to proclaim their miserableness repeatedly. To each their own I suppose.

    I'm aware. There were 4 guys. I'll be shocked if we get more than a borderline top 100 guy and a flier. We'll see.

    No. Of course not. It's one season of a good reliever. We're not getting a top 50 guy and I'll be surprised if we get a top 100. The receiving team is getting like 60 innings

    I would've gone with Peterson were I the Mets. I know it's 3 days rest, but he's been fantastic 8 of his last 10 starts. I have a good feeling about this.
