  1. Sexson got hurt for AZ and produced .3 WAR in 23 games For the Brewers: Capuano: 7.8 WAR in 7 seasons Overbay: 4.3 WAR in 2 seasons Spivey: 2.6 WAR in 1.5 seasons Counsell: 1.0 WAR in 1 season and then left in free agency Moeller: -3.6 WAR in 3 seasons (yikes) DeLaRosa: -1.5 WAR in 1.5 seasons So yeah, Pretty much got trash for him, but he was even worse. You can also factor Dave Bush in since we got him for Overbay. He was 1.9 WAR in 5 seasons so also meh.
  2. I'll bet an internet quarter that Sproat makes the rotation out of camp. They may keep him down to cut the variety of pitches, but he's got some Corbin Burnes to him. And now he's in the best lab around. He's a big strong arm. Similar profile to Priester, but with a spring training. I think Sproat could be a steal.
  3. I feel like people are underselling Hall here. I completely understand it, but I think he's a wildcard. Maybe not as a starter yet, but as a 3 inning guy. If they can get him to command he's a very intriguing guy. May be a long shot, but intriguing nonetheless.
  4. I'd much rather have Williams over Baty personally. Like not even close
  5. Williams' OBP numbers are really good. He seems like a really good get. Sproat could be good after the lab.
  6. I'd take Tolle. I wouldn't trade him to the Dodgers unless they reeeeeeeally over paid.
  7. I'm not adding a top 10 prospect for Duran, but I'd add two 10-20 guys. If that's not enough, so be it.
  8. Would've liked Refsnyder but not at that price.
  9. Can they trade Woodruff? Hopefully?
  10. I'm fine with this. I don't believe in Collins and never really did. Good luck to him though.
  11. The team counting on him and him not delivering when it counts. Again. Thats the only downside, but it's very likely to manifest itself in my opinion.
  12. Meh. Hope he's healthy when it matters, but he probably won't be. I'm not super-concerned about the $12MM (net), I just worry that they'll count on him to be a big part of October and he won't be (again).
  13. I'd take a shot if the price is right. No idea what the price would be
  14. Yeah, they're obviously exercising their end of the option. Woodruff at $10MM (net) is a bargain. Woodruff will then decline, the Brewers will offer the QO, Woodruff will decline and he's a free agent. I want nothing to do with him at that point. Completely unreliable. Great dude, great Brewer, no thanks anymore.
  15. Bad fit, not to mention a wife-beater. Pass.
  16. Wow, that would be really really stupid.
  17. I really hope they stop lighting money on fire with Woodruff. Enough already.
  18. Yeah, Yelich is the better player. Plus, juicer. Obviously.
