  1. Actually $1M less for this year. Which may or may not matter.
  2. And he hasn't had the benefit of the Brewers pitching lab like Houser did over those 200 innings.
  3. I sure hope so.
  4. The split of the contract implies that they're still spending so that's good.
  5. Musgrove has negative value according to BTV. So if you take his contract you can have him. It's 4/80. I don't believe that though. Hard to figure his value since he's coming off of a shoulder injury. Shoulders scare me a lot more than elbows.
  6. I remember the covid thing, but I guess I brain-farted on the domestic issue. Obviously not great. I would guess that's a factor for him.
  7. I can't recall the Brewers ever having 8 55 guys in the system. Pretty impressive. Plus another 5 50 or 50+ guys. Gonna be an exciting few years.
  8. Clevinger seems so obvious that I'm almost surprised that it hasn't happened. 2/24. Get it done.
  9. Agree in general, but man, 5 of those 6 guys are lefties. Seems crazy to me.
  10. Just wondering what everyone would think of trying to acquire him (and potentially try to extend him). I'd love to team him up with Freddy, Hall, etc for the next 4 years and try to rekindle the dual aces. BTV puts it around Quero/Frelick/Turang, which fills a couple needs for the Marlins as well (SS/C). I'm not even sure I'd do this although I think I would, but I'm curious as to what people think.
  11. I would be shocked and dismayed if they traded him.
  12. Hall is not on the current top 100. Whether it's graduation or performance I'm not sure.
  13. I would consider Adames for Rogers. I'd need more though. Certainly not giving them Weimer for the other 2 stiffs. No chance. Edit: I see I'm way off according to BTV, but I don't care.
  14. That's more like it for me. Williams to KC makes no sense anyway. Not sure who came up with that rumor but it's kinda dumb.
  15. Montgomery was projected by MLBTR to get 6/150. And I still think he'll get something close to that. I'd do 4/100, but I doubt he'd sign it.
  16. No interest in the Williams trade. I'm not against trading Williams, just not for that package. Love the other 2 moves.
  17. If you have to exaggerate to this degree to make your point, maybe your point is questionable. Anyway, with regard to your other comments, if there are no other significant moves before spring training, I agree that the direction is a little confusing. I have a strong suspicion that they're not near done.
  18. As mentioned earlier, 5/125 for Jordan Montgomery. Can afford that easily this season. Doubt he'd sign first that but it's in the ballpark. It's also very unlikely they'd offer that, but I can dream. If they trade Adames, they're ~$32MM below last year's payroll.
  19. I'm fine with this strategy in baseball. It makes zero sense in basketball.
  20. Yes. Which will also include 25MM in free agent money (assuming they take back no real salary for Adames).
