  1. The As continue their drive to history. It looks like it will come down to the last game in the quest to become the worst team ever in terms of run differential. They'll need to lose their last 9 games by 17 runs or more (net) to carve out their spot in baseball lore. I know you can do it guys!
  2. Fist time I've preferred Jeffrey Leonard to anything tbqh.
  3. But with a good manager.
  4. So.......pretty much wire-to-wire.
  5. Glad they didn't DFA Canha after 20 AB like a lot of people here wanted.
  6. This is going to sound silly, but if you've got a guy on the bench that never plays, why not DFA Anderson and get him up here to at least experience a pennant race? Hell, he can even play when we clinch. My prediction: Next Monday Should it be in blue? You decide.
  7. Had a 7 rarity score the other day. Personal best.
  8. Mocking sabermetrics. Cool I guess. You're not Joe Morgan are you?
  9. Not that I saw. Of course I have like 20 people on ignore so maybe.
  10. Hopefully they won't miss him at all.
  11. K. Personally I'd prefer to know how many times he doesn't make an out. Seems a lot more important.
  12. Batting average is an extremely poor way to judge a hitter.
  13. I loved the Chafin deal. I was wrong. Please don't cut and paste all of it because I'm already 51 years old and I'd probably die before I could copy and paste all the stupid stuff I've read in game threads this year.
  14. Thr fat lady ain't singing but she's warming up.
  15. I find your hypothesis specious at best.
  16. Megill may be my favorite Brewer.
  17. Cubs score a run on a blown popup. This is going to he annoying if they win.
  18. Yep. I had it as closer to 20% in my tiny little brain. Mea culpa. Also, I re-watched the game, and the balk looked pretty obvious. His first move is toward the plate pretty blatantly.
  19. Agree with this. I'd strongly prefer anyone else tbh.
  20. Also, just rewatching the game. -Rotino mentioned that Vieiera has "only" 15 walks in 37 innings in Nashville. Ummmmm -that's how you close out a blowout. Throw strikes. He's a huge man. Between him and Megill, I like the Brewers in any bullpen fight. Plus Chafin probably fights dirty.
