  1. The cubs broadcasters said that he ran through the stop sign. The obvious problem is listening to the Cubs broadcast. They are conspiring against us and will do anything to cause dissent on Brewerfan.net. Do not fall for the trick. Doing so only lets them beat us down. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  2. My favorite place to go whenever I want to feel good about the state of the Brewers and myself in general. There are quite a few good posters over there but a lot of really negative people as well. The sky is always falling over there.
  3. He took the collar again today. Good thing I'm going to wait a little bit to judge him. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  4. I think as someone else said in the IGT that there was no side to side movement of the knee and it was more the knee cap getting pushed in too far. A play tat looked horrible and probably felt even scarier, especially for a guy who already has hurt his knee once but nothing more. That would explain the lack of swelling and why he was able to pitch shortly there after. I think we as Brewers fans have been conditioned with Sheets to gasp at all injuries. I don't think he will miss a start given Maddux after the game and TH reporting no swelling.
  5. Wow we got a break there. Kendall didn't block the plate at all and Fukudome slid under the tag.
  6. Grounder into the hole and Craig was falling down trying to make the throw. Ball got under Rickies glove and Theriot took off towards third base. Prince was backing up the throw and gunned Theriot at third. On the throw Lee took second base.
  7. I saw that too. He was bailing out at the last second. If I am Prince I am thinking about that the next time there is a close play at the plate. Why was he sent anyways? That wasn't even close.
  8. Good job on Prince for running it out. Lets take advantage and get a meltdown of Z.
  9. Smoked! Lets go back to back Prince. On a side note I am buying a Yovanni jersey soon.
  10. I seriously thought he was out for the season and he is now on the mound pitching warmup tosses. Wow wow wow. Take notes Ben.
  11. YoGa's knee bent in ways its not supposed too but he is now up and walking.
  12. How do you take that pitch with men on base and two strikes?
  13. Yeah no way we can come back from a one run deficit in the top of the 4th. Are we still smarting from last night? No way they can. Just look at how we will just fold after the HR. i bet we wont get 1 more runner on base... EDIT: whoops! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I was joking. I forgot the blue.
  14. Agreed. Cut your hair you dang hippie!!!
  15. Yeah no way we can come back from a one run deficit in the top of the 4th. Are we still smarting from last night?
  16. I agree, but were you never an 8 year old kid at a Brewer game? Do you really "miss" what's going on? Can you not figure it out? I'm not a fan of the wave or any other game ritual- but do you want them to screen ticket buyers? round and round and round we go... Yep, been there done that. I was an 8 year old at a Brewers game and was taught that there was a time and place for everything. I remember going to lots of games as a young kind but I can only remember doing it a time or two. It was not something that was done at every game. I was also taught to enjoy myself and have a good time without impeding on others enjoyment of the game. Call me crazy but I want to watch the game not a bunch of folks doing the wave. If the game gets boring because of a Brewers massacre well heck lets get that wave rollin'. Most of the time the wave isnt started by an 8 year old or kid of any kind but drunken frat boys or girls who could care less about whats going on on the field. That ticks me off. Call me an elitist if you will
  17. Must be in the minority here but I wouldn't do it. I guess I'm not the best person to ask because I'm not in the situation. I just hate the Cubs more than anything. Sounds pretty stupid I know but thats just the way I feel. In fantasy baseball leagues I don't pick up any Cubs because I can't stand the thought of cheering for them to do well. Obviously different but just thought I would throw it out there.
  18. Absolutely, but should my viewing of the game should be interrupted because people want to stand up in front of me to do an over used and outdated ritual, in inappropriate times? It doesn't make you less of a fan but there are times for everything and when the Brewers are down by two runs in the top of the 6th with men on 2nd and 3rd with no one out isnt the time for the wave.
  19. His start was pretty much what I expected. Bill and Brian said his velocity was fine, down just a little bit and obviously the curveball was nasty. He didn't have control but he had been sitting for over a week. 7 walks is a little much but as others have said that strike zone was very tight especially up high and on the corner towards 1B. It was really cold last night. There is no reason to think that didn't play into his velocity being down slightly and his control being a little off, especially when coupled with the ugly strike zone
  20. I agree with pretty much every thing that has been said so far. I hate the Wave a lot because it is so overused and done in the wrong situations. Only after the sixth inning Only when the Brewers have a 5+ run lead Do it and get it over with so I can go back to watching the game I paid to see instead of seeing jerks stand up in front of me (which happens enough as it is). Never in key situations ie: men on base, opposing team is threatening, Turnbow is pitching. Every time the Wave violates one of these rules something bad inevitably happens. It is just bad karma.
  21. No he warmed in the 5th but didnt come in yet.
  22. One game my man, one game. It is very encouraging however.
  23. Is it just me or does TGJ look way more ripped than he was last year? He really looks like he has added some muscle.
