    I don't really feel sorry for the guy but with all the beatings that have happened in the Milwaukee area anytime I see multiple people taking cracks like that at one person I get sick to my stomach.

    That can't be Prince. The guy in the picture isn't nearly sloppy fat enough. I don't see any jiggles or anything. With what everyone on the board has been saying there is no way that can be Prince.

    It is not condescending at all, the fact of the matter is that your Dad is the exception not the rule. Its not 1985 anymore where you can walk into anice job with no academic credentials but a high school diploma. The point is if you want to be able to compete with others for good jobs you have to make sure your education is the absolute best it can be. If you cannot get into the elite private schools, go to Madison, if you cannot get into Madison than go to the next largest state University you can...so on and so forth. Some people do succeed without higher education, but most who bypass college end up punching a time clock every Monday through Friday for forty plus years. That is completely false. College is not needed in every profession and the thing that determines whether or not you will be successful is aptitude and whether or not one wants to work hard at whatever they do, not that one jumped through hoops for four years and have a piece of paper stating that fact. You should really try and adjust your thinking and realize there are a lot of options out there other than going to college that won't lead you to a dead end job punching a time clock.

    What a condescending comment. You don't need a college degree to make money and have vacation days. My dad didn't go to college and is now a Regional manager at a high level national corporation, making great money. Sure he had to work a lot harder to get where he is, but college isn't for everyone. Some of the world's richest and most brilliant people didn't finish college. You should really be more careful to not make such ridiculous comments when giving someone advice. Anyways, back to the original poster's question. You aren't behind at all. If you do your research and groundwork for the schools this summer and send out applications in fall you will be fine. As far as what you should do with your life in my experience the only thing you can do is try a bunch of different things. That requires you to be proactive and search out many different opportunities. I changed my career course and majors many different times. Just because you think you want to do one thing and then change your mind, that doesn't make you wrong or mean you made a bad decision. Just worry about trying to find something that you enjoy doing and could see yourself doing for the rest of your life. The money and everything else will follow you. The only way you can do that is over time. You will probably change your mind multiple times and thats ok. Very few people know exactly what they want to do with their lives when they are 18. You will change as a person and with that what you want to do with your life will change. Just try a bunch of different things and make the best decision you can at the time you are making it.

    I am not going to repost what MY opinion is because anyone can figure that out by reading some of the posts prior to this. I do believe however that I am entitled to that opinion so I don't really feel like it is (your words) stupid and that I should just leave it at that. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, thats the beauty of a message board.

    Read my whole post. I don't think it is fair to make personal attacks on a guys body composition because he isn't playing well. You are guys are picking something that you can easily trumpet as the cause of his struggles. The pictures from Nashville and pictures this year don't show a guy who is "sloppy fat looking." They show a guy who is big and will continue to get bigger. But last year people defended Prince as "solid" and "built" Now once he struggles he is sloppy fat. Thats my point.

    Prince has always been a big guy and will continue to be a big guy. Does he look bigger than he was last year? Well IMO I have not noticed a difference. Without threads like this I would not have noticed anything. Apparently according to some posters, that makes me blind. I guess I should go to a doctor. Do yourself a favor and google some pictures of Prince when he was with Nashville. You will see a big dude. He will get bigger as he ages it is just the way his body will work. To suggest however, that his "struggles" are due to him being fatter and more jiggly than he was last year are ridiculous attacks on a hardworking, dedicated athlete. Prince has always played the game the right way and been a passionate, intense leader on the team at a very young age. There is nothing that he has ever done to suggest that this has changed or would for any reason change. I stand by my statement that the change in body composition is due to Prince's struggles at the plate. All of the Prince weight and vegetarianism threads came up a week or two into the season when Prince was struggling. They were knee jerk then and are knee jerk now.

    I agree Ennder if Prince was batting .308 with 14 bombs and an OPS of .980 there is no way this thread is happening.

    If that's the general thought, the general thought is wrong. Agreed. Carbs can be bad, but for athletes like Prince they supply energy, plain and simple. That is the main job of carbohydrates in our body. Now if you want to get into the debate of simple vs. complex carbs we can go there. The problem is when people eat tons of carbs and sit around and do nothing. Oatmeal (normal not the sugary processed Quaker crap) which is high in complex carbs is one of the best things you can eat.

    I work at the Hi Hat on Brady Street in Milwaukee, barback, bartend and serve. I'm there pretty much all the time. Oh and go to school full time.

    Hall is on pace for 35 HR and 95 RBI. Hardy is on pace for 5 HR and 45 RBI. Don't see how the two compare. Hall is struggling too but his swing looks fine to me wheras Hardy looks a bit lost up there. Bill Hall is batting .210 with an OBP of .279. I'm not sure how his swing looks fine.
