  1. Backe is defintitely looking hittable tonight! Let's go Crew!!!
  2. Hey Cameron? Ever hear of a thing called, Protecting the plate? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif
  3. With Hart leading off, would it make sense to move Kendell back to the 9 hole?
  4. I'd feel horrible for Hall if he got switched positions again. If this occurs, I would not be surprised if Hall comes out Personally this time, and demands a trade. Seriously, how many times are we going to lie to this kid? (if this occurs, of course) I really hope this doesn't happen. My fingers are crossed for ya Hall...
  5. ok ok ok....Yost pullin' Bush...good move skipper Let's go Big Joe!!!!
  6. Is there a reason why Bush wasn't bunting for his first at bat? 1 out. Runner's on 1st and 3rd. Is it me, or is bunting the only Correct play to call (YOST!!!)??? I can see only if Bush fly's out and we score Hart, but that's not a given. I'm sorry, I just think that was a horrible call by our fearless leader.
  7. Stay hot Gabe! I like this line-up. Let's go Sheeter...keep throwin' that heater!
  8. Hillary Clinton still had a glimmer of a chance at being the democratic nominee.James Thompson still had a left ear that hadn't exploded via the hand of Kimbo Slice. I was still a cigarette smoker....No longer though! No more weezin for me!
  9. Geez....Oldschool just out right newschool'd me. Give me the dunce cap for that one, but you know what I meant.
  10. That first swing by D. Lee freaked the crap out of me. That was TOO close to being a walk-off. PHEW!!
  11. A buddy of mine and I were just talking about this and he brought up a great suggestion: Cameron in CF 60% of the time and Kapler in CF 40% of the time. Have Kapler respite Braun 1 outta 7 games and respite Hall one of 7 games. That would have Cameron in 60% , Kapler in 69% and Braun/Hart with 84% each.
  12. Gotta let Gagne prove that he's ready. Torres remains the closer until that time comes, and even then you may consider leaving Torres in there (given that he stays hot too). If Gagne and Torres are throwing A-games, then that could be a deadly duo.
  13. Yah, and we're only 7 games out of 1st with 104 games to play...Go for it!! As much as I'm a realist and believe that the Cubs are unfortunately the best team in the division, maybe the NL, and that the Wild Card is a more likely bet for the Crew, I'm not going to surrender the fact that they are STILL THE CUBS! It's a long season and I believe the Crew has a way above average chance of winning the division.
  14. I am fine with a Hall trade, as long as we get a # 2 SP back. Hall, Gwynn and LaPorta for a stud SP such as Lincecum, Grienke or the like. We have enough young talent to risk losing a LaPorta. Come on DM, go out and get us a stud P....imagine next year (given we sign an extension clause with the trade) having Sheets, Yo, Sabathia/Cain/Grienke/Lincecum....... Just do it!!!!
  15. I second that Glennron....I'll take a 5-8 game winning streak, and I'll start to think differently. I also think that until Fielder starts raking, we will never have turned the corner.
  16. eight K's so far for who??? Doesn't it seem like the Brewers make every team's "who?" seem like a rock star. Disheartening is the correct word for this.....
  17. Given those choices...I'll take Redding, but like you said...do they need a CF? Wolf could suffice.
  18. From the looks of Wolf's stats so far this year, he he's averaging around 6.0 innings/game and has only allowed 3 HR's. Hits are close to 7-8/game. Again, like someone said before about rather seeing Maddux out there every 5 days vs seeing McClung, I say the same about Wolf. That said, is there any other plan or trade partner that we could send TGJ to for someone better than Wolf?
  19. It looked like Braun wasn't even looking when he caught that ball! That was awesome!!! Backhanded too....very impressive #8.
  20. You hate name calling, however you called me (or my post, same thing) no class. I agree that it's easy to pass blame once things don't go the way one thinks it should, but again, this is a public forum and "idiot" posters like me don't mind passing the blame when one thinks someone did something stupid. Lets squash this and watch some baseball.
  21. I'm sorry, but in my opinion (Hart staying hot!!) Cameron's job is to get RW over to third. I like the odds of getting him over via the bunt rather than via a base hit when the other options are either K'ing or Flying out, not allowing him to get over (unless it's to third, of course).....I just like the odds better when bunting. Just my opinion. I don't think that I deserve to be called "no class" for that. And in by calling him an idiot, that's how I felt about that decision of his.
  22. There you go Brauny! Seeing the ball....keep it up buddy!
