    My picks earlier this month: at Arizona (2-1) Pittsburgh (3-0) Colorado (2-2) Cincinnati (2-1) at San Francisco (3-0) at St. Louis (2-2) Houston (2-1) Chi Cubs (3-1) So far, I'm off by 1 loss to the Reds to be perfect. If I continue to be correct, and I think I will be, that will be a 18-9 record. Pretty good Crew! Make it happen!

    I'm not saying this is a good idea/bad idea...I'm going to wait and see. But to all of you who are saying this is an idiotic idea by Ned, I'll ask you all to come on this thread in a month from now and apologize to Ned if it works (and I'm not a Ned supporter FYI). Just because it's never been done before doesn't mean it can't work. I'm really hoping that it does work, only for the reason that if it does, that means that the Crew stays in the postseason chase. I'm crossing my fingers!!!!

    Soup is not going the the pen...he's making too much money for a move like that. Period! I think Bush will end up in the Pen with the Unbelievable pitching McClung is doing, but I'd actually think McClung is the better fit for the pen. Either Way, I'm very glad that we have McClung.

    it's just a matter of time now. Obviously we all new Escobar wasn't a part of the deal, but it's a pleasure getting this confirmed by TH. I am truely drooling right now thinking of having Sheets/Sabathia/Parra with Soup and McClung being the 4 and 5.....are you kidding me...     Gotta applaud Yost on this move...Also want to applaud Yost for not going with his normal Sunday line-up. With the amount of fans coming to the park today, you can't put in a B squad. Way to go Yost...you're starting to manage like a big league manager!!!!

    If they really expect us to give up LaPorta and Escobar, then by all means drop out of the race. It's going to be interesting to see if DM counters w/Weeks in the deal to get CC and Peralta.

    I listen to WSSP everyday, but spots like this really make me want to turn to AM540. The guys at 540 are WAAAAAAAAY smarter than 1250 but I like that 1250 is more of a listener friendly/call in station. I'd rather hear the takes of my peers than listen to the Dlists all time favorite Canadian athelete. Again though.....1250 needs to just hold their horses until something comes out. I apologize if this should have gone in the vent thread, but it fit with the last couple of posts.
