we would be absolutely NUTS to include LaPorta and Escobar or Hardy. If that's what it takes, count me out.
  2. MillerParkSouth
I think you might see Parra's turn skipped a few times to limit his innings as well.
  3. MillerParkSouth
Well you're getting CV, although I was also afraid something like this would happen. Hopefully he can get out of it.

If they asked for LaPorta AND Escobar or Hardy I hope Doug laughed and hung up the phone. It's not like we have him for next year too, we have him for 10-12 starts! They should be happy we're offering them LaPorta at all!

Doesn't JJ throw gas too? Maybe he can pitch the 8th.
  6. MillerParkSouth
JJ is hitting like he's Ryan Braun and running the bases like he's Bill Hall.
  7. MillerParkSouth
Even with a red hot Branyan, you need to keep Billy to hit against lefties. I don't think i'll understand the Bill Hall hatred around here. Sheets is throwing a ton of pitches. Didn't he watch the game last night? We need him to go 9!

that's something I was wondering too. At least give him the unintentional intentional walk and give him nothing to hit.

Hopefully this game doesn't send us into a tailspin going into the break, but I have a very, very bad feeling that it might. When you're chasing the best team in the NL you can't blow games like this!!!!

somebody should lose their job for this. Yost, Mota, I don't care who. This is absolutely inexcusable. WE DIDN'T EVEN GET ONE STUPID OUT!!!!!! edited to say that this is in no way Yost's fault, this is just the type of loss where heads should roll. Takes me back to the Philly game last year. Unreal.

    Thanks, I feel much better!

Torres' arm is going to fall off. Our bullpen is going to kill us again this year.
  13. MillerParkSouth
DFA Mota. Seriously, enough is enough!

at what point do the Brewers start worrying about Manny's innings? Right now he's our 2nd best pitcher, but at some point I would imagine we're going to have to shut him down. I really hope that we don't just ride him into the ground this year going for a playoff spot. Maybe that's something the front office has in mind when they're talking about acquiring a pitcher or 2 for depth.

It's absolutely stunning to see the home/road splits for Prince and Braun. How can they be so horrible on the road???
  16. MillerParkSouth
unfortunately for JJ Hardy, the only person that can drive him in is JJ Hardy.
  17. MillerParkSouth
was it a contact play? I was really hoping Ned wouldn't call for that with Manny up, no matter how well he may handle the bat.
  18. MillerParkSouth
Glaus walk off homer. Got to win this one.
  19. MillerParkSouth
you have got to be kidding me.
  20. MillerParkSouth
haha, awesome. maybe this is what happens when we just turn Rickie loose!
  21. MillerParkSouth
and Chris Duncan just tied the game up for the Cards. ugh.
  22. MillerParkSouth
why do I have a bad feeling we're going to see Gagne this game?
  23. MillerParkSouth
I really hope I didn't jinx JJ by picking him up for my fantasy team after the game last night.
  24. MillerParkSouth
I give Deer the edge because of the 'stache. Bush looking good so far (knocks furiously on wood).
  25. MillerParkSouth
Cam sure is picking some horrible times to strikeout today. We really should have this game blown completely open at this point.
