I will be ecstatic if we go 5-1 in the last 6, because that means we'd have 2 road sweeps! If that happens, then i may be convinced that we may be on to something here.

I find it fairly obnoxious that right now we have the 3rd best record in the NL (by % pts over Philly) and yet if the playoffs started today, we wouldn't be in. -

I think Hall has been really having some solid AB's lately. Seeing a lot of pitches, going the other way off a righty in his pinch hit AB saturday night. Solid game for him yesterday too (aside from getting picked off). Hopefully he can continue to take advantage of his opportunities to contribute. -
man, I was in town this weekend and should have thought about heading out to thise. I would have loved to get a Bush autograph on my t-shirt jersey and then frame it!

I went to the Fanzone before the game on Saturday night in search of a Branyan T-shirt jersey. The lady told me that they hadn't arrived yet but that EVERYONE has been asking for them. Hopefully they're in stock when i'm up again 4th of July weekend! -

lead off double by Swisher and they can't score him. I guess it's good to see that other teams besides the Brewers do this, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating.

living in Chicago, that game was ridiculously sweet. Marmol is filthy, but he does have a tendancy to put quite a few guys on when he's not feeling it. Usually it seems like he'll just strike the next 3 guys out and escape the jam. I was thrilled to see that that wasn't the case yesterday. -
Afeter - I generally don't like booing either. It angers me when people boo Hall or when people booed Caballo when he came back. stuff like that doesn't make sense. The more I think about it, I don't know if I would have been booing in the 9th so much as I would have just been getting really frustrated. That said, I did boo Yost quite heavily last weekend when he came out to finally get Tavarez after that disaster.

I'm not a fan of needless booing, but if i were there I would be booing my brains out. This is ridiculous. yeah and you like the rest of the morons there today would be hurting your team. Not helping. taking away all home field advantage. seriously think about it No need to get snippy. I just think it's OK to express frustration when your team is in the middle of potentially throwing away a game they had no business losing. I would have given Riske an earful after they took him out too, it's human nature. Now booing for no real reason, that's something else.

i can't imagine that he's done. he's only 22 so hopefully he can come back. Didn't Manny have a bunch of shoulder problems too? Nevertheless, this is incredibly disappointing. we really need to figure out how to develop pitchers.

I'm kind of surprised that the trade talks haven't gotten more heated, considering the draft is a little over a week away. hopefully once the finals end (come on Lakers, just win!), things will get going with a flurry.
